-Shortly after patch 3.3 launches I will be dropping a new release. So far mostly minor tweaks.
Planned Changes:
Pitbull 4
- Party frames are now moved and centered along the top of the screen instead of the top left corner. This corrects an issue of tool tips overlapping the party frames.
Bartender 4
- For some reason bar 1 was enabled and off the screen unable to be selected. The bar has now been centered on the screen and disabled.
SBF (Satrina Buff Frames)
- I have renamed each frame for the job it does. For example instead of SBF 1, it reads "Your Buffs" ect.
- The "Debuffs on Target" frame now shows when Demo Shout or Vindication or Curse of Weakness, Thunderclap, and Sunder Armor are applied by anyone. Previously it only showed when you applied them and did not include Vindication/Curse of Weakness. This is to help reduce the chance you are wasting time applying a debuff already present.
DBM
I have enabled the 2nd set of bars "big" bar to appear just above the target and target of target frame. This is to have a centered and larger CD bar to inform you of information you need to know during an encounter.
Need Help?
-If after reading ALL the information below you still are having issues downloading, installing or setting up my UI for a different resolution check out my guide: A Guide to Downloading User Interfaces
3.2.3 Version Changes:
-This UI will now be released and updated for 1920x1080 resolution only. Many apologies to my smaller resolution users. I will keep the version 3.2.2 (1280x1024) archived on this download page. You can continue to use that version by simply updating the addons as updates become available.
-Removed Archeron (found that I did not use it enough to keep it)
-Removed Archud2 (wanted to go to unit frames instead of the 3D target box)
-Removed X-perl (not enough customization)
-Removed Quartz (the need for this addon was replaced by Pitbull4)
-Added Icehud
-Added Pitbull4
-Added Recount
-This UI now has Focus and Target of your Focus.
-The information on this page has been updated and includes new instructions for the latest version.
The following information is Important. Read it! I will do my best to check the tankspot thread linked at the bottom of this page as often as I can to provide support help. You can also check that thread and the comments on this download page to see if someone asked the same question as you and an answer was provided. Please take the time to check the sources available to you, including addon homepages, if you are having an issue with one.
Install Instructions:
1) Copy your Interface and WTF folders and store them somewhere safe, outside your WoW folder(this is to create a backup, if you do not like my UI ).
2) Delete the Interface and WTF folder from your WoW Folder.
3) Download the UI and extract it to your WoW Folder.
4) Go into your WoW folder and open the Boda UI folder. Then pull out the WTF and Interface folders and place them in the WoW folder. Once you have the WTF and Inteface folders out you can delete the empty Boda UI folder.
5) Go into the WTF Folder and rename the appropriate folders with YOUR info.
- Account Name (All Caps)
- Realm/Server Name (First Letter Cap)
- Change "Your Name" to your characters name (First Letter Cap)
6) Profiles: Log in and use the following slash commands to open the configs and select the "Bodasafa - Eldre'Thalas" profile for each:
/bt
/omen config
/icehud config
/pitbull
/buttonfacade
/rb win
/mbf
/recount config *You have to access it through the wow options. Hit "ESC" and select "Interface" then select the "Addons" tab, then select "Recount" and you will see it there.
/statuswindow
/sbf options
/chinchilla
/chatter
/sct menu
/kgpanels config
7) After you have enabled those addons with my profile, reload your UI.
8) Log out of wow to save the changes.
9) Log in and Enjoy.
Other Classes and Resolutions FAQ:
The resolution for this UI is 1920x1080, But you can use this UI for other resolutions. All you have to do is play with the UI scale via the in-game video options till it looks right. You may have to do some other adjustments such as unlocking the panels and addons to relocate and re-size them slightly. If your having trouble moving them go check out the download page for that addon. They generally have helpful tips listed there.
Please note I CANNOT tell anyone how to set this UI up for a different resolution. It is impossible for me to describe how to make this fit to your screen.
Additionally this UI can work with many other classes and specs. Please read the information for SBF located here: Satrina Buff Frames 3 and refer to those instructions if you are using this UI for other classes. This will help you set up the Target Debuffs (left of the center box) and your special ability procs (right of the center box) if you are not a warrior.
Suggested Macros:
- Recount Reset
In order to get the recount window to look clean I had to remove all the little icons. Due to this I would recommend making a reset macro for recount. Otherwise you will stack up a crap load of saved data and load up your memory.
/recount reset
- Focus
I found it helpful to create a simple focus macro. Target the person/mob you want to focus and click the macro.
/focus
- Target Self
I do not use a player portrait in this UI since Icehud shows my Health/Rage ect. I recommend that you key bind "target self" via the in-game key bind options to a key. When you press that key you will see "you" as the target in your target frame. You then right click your name to see the normal options you would get via a regular player portrait.

Originally posted by Othila I fell in love with this UI as soon as I saw it. Although it's set up for a tank, I managed to configure it and switch some mods out and make it perfect for my Holy Priest.
Originally posted by Gravytrane Thanks for the great UI. I am using it for my tank and my hunter with mild tweaks. I am trying to do a couple of things. In the small panels next to the 3d target box I can show buff/debuffs on me. Which is great for my tank but on my hunter I would like it to show, if possible, my dots on the boss. Like hunters mark or viper sting or any other debuff. I can show them if they are on me, but want to show mine on the boss. is it possible?
Also there is a box above the raid panel that seems to show the tanks target? What mod is this so I can set it to work for me? It currently shows any warriors in raid but our tanks are mostly pally or dk.
Lastly, in your guide, my only suggestion would be a pic with arrows pointing to the different panels explaing which mod is represented in each box. It would make it immensley easier for a noob like me to figure it out.
Amazing job and thanks for putting it out there to share. I have been playing since 1.1 and this is my first ui mod. You made it so easy even a computard like me could figure it out. =D
You can tailor the debuffs you apply to the boss thru SBF, the mod that handles them. Type /sbf options to get into the config, from there you just need to set the stuff up. There is a link on my download page a ways down under the "Other Classes FAQ" to the SBF homepage with instructions.
The MT (main tank) targets above the raid frames is done by X-perl. Type /xperl to open the config. Its under the "Helper" tab. In order for you to see the proper tanks a raid leader or someone with an "A" must mark the tanks as MT's, either through ORA2 or Xperl, they share info.
Thanks for the positive comments about my UI and set up.
Ill try and get a Screen shot done up in MS paint for the next release to show what is what.
Originally posted by Bodasafa On a side note, I'm looking for some feed back from users of this UI.
1) Did you find my install instructions easy to follow?
2) If not, what would you have me word differently?
3) Is there any other helpful information or screen shots I could provide on my download page?
Thanks in advance,
-Boda

Had my ui taken down just in case, but units are OuF and the layout Caellian.

I have just one little question about your UI. I am using it at this very moment and I must say that I absolutly love it, but there is one small detail I am missing. Well not missing but would like to see.
This small detail is a 1440×900 Resolution option for your UI. I have played WoW ever since I got it on 1440×900 and it feels really wierd to play on 1080×1024 resolution. And to be honest I think you would do alot of people good by trying to make a wide screen version of your UI. Many people nowadays play wide screen.
That is my one and only request left to ask about your UI the rest is simply brilliant.
Best regards, Uminame of Scarshield Legion
Unfortunately I do not have a larger monitor than the 1080x1024 so I can not design a widescreen version. I hope to get a larger wide screen in the future when I have some money. Like everyone else in the world work is not the best right now.
