RuneHUD
RuneHUD is a simple addon that moves the runes of your DK to make them a HUD (Heads Up Display). The runes are click through which means they don't intercept mouse clicks.

RuneHUD have OmniCC support, will be hidden when in a vehicle and the individual runes will fade when on cooldown!

RuneHUD now also have it's own slash commands, yes even though I said it would never happen it has now!

Slash command list:
/rh or /runehud - Gives a list of available commands
/rh s <scale> - Scaling, needs to be a number greater than 0
/rh aoc <alpha> - Out of combat alpha, needs to be a number between 0 and 1
/rh aic <alpha> - Alpha in combat, needs to be a number between 0 and 1
/rh aiv <alpha> - Alpha when in a vehicle, needs to be a number between 0 and 1
/rh hoc <true/false> - Cooldown fading, either true or false

Credits:
Gotai - Helping me spot small error with slash command, thanks a lot man!
Wimpface - Some code inspiration and motivation.
Lyn - The idea for the config part in the lua.

Ok, will try to recreate the bug myself now, and hopefully it will be an easy fix.
Edit:
Should be fixed now, had made a small error in the code. Post here if you experience any other issues with it.

Long time no see..since you fixed RuneHUD for xPerl :-)

Anyway..since then I haven't used any updated versions 'til now..1.7 & I've noticed it being real whacky..

So first I turned the Fade to false..

I also turned the Alpha out of combat from .1 to 0

I haven't pinpointed every scenario when it happens..but one in particular happens consistently..

If I open with say..Chains of Ice..Icy Touch..Death Grip..

The rune used in the ability doesn't show up period on RuneHUD..it's just an empty space in the HUD..

Also it seems if I kill a mob..then attack another target while runes are still on cooldown..those runes don't show up either..ever..'til I'm out of combat & the cooldowns have finished..

It never used to be that way..1.5 was the last I used 'til now..quit for awhile but now I'm back :-)

Still love the addon..I'll help diagnose further if I can be of any use

-Edit

I see the problem..however I don't know anything about addons..the code..any of it..but I was playing more & had an idea..which I suspect will prove useful in diagnosing the underlying cause..

So I set the Alpha Out of Combat to .5..giving the runes a slight fade..when I open with Chains of Ice..Icy Touch..Death Grip..the rune used by the ability stays faded..the same as it did when my out of combat was 0 & I couldn't see it at all..

It seems like the runes aren't registering combat all the time on openers entering combat..so certain icons think they're still out of combat until it's too late..

There are times it all works great..I see all the runes correctly..most of the time it doesn't & is missing some of the rune icons

np and thanks again for making this add on, much better than the default blizzard rune set up.

Open the RuneHUD.lua file found in the RuneHUD folder wuth any texteditor (But preferably one that got lua highlighting like Notepad++) and change:
Code:
local aoc = 0.1 -- Alpha of the runes out of combat
to:
Code:
local aoc = 0 -- Alpha of the runes out of combat
Edit:
Sorry for the late answer, been busy with various stuff for some days so I forgot to check here.

After playing an arena match I've found that the new feature with runes fading when on cooldown is really bugged, so if you've downloaded it, just use the guide on the addon info page to disable it for now.
I'm very sorry for this and I'll try to solve it as fast as I can.

Edit:
After trying to recreate the bug for almost 4 hours without any luck I'm releasing 1.7 again. If the alpha of the individual runes doesn't update when you're in combat, please post here what you did and possible how to recreate it so I know what to look for.

Atm there's nothing you can change in there to make it work like that, but it's definitely a good idea. I will work on it and see what I can do.

Edit:
Think I've got it working now, just need to test it for a day or two to make sure it works correctly

No, not currently at least. My skills with PhotoShop (and alike) is very limited. I might add it in the future since I know the original runes ain't that pretty tbh.
Edit:
If anyone do have some skills with PS or smoething similar feel free to PM me textures that you think would fit and I might just use it.
