A display platform for LibDataBroker (LDB) based plug-ins. The display is provided through panels, each having sections (Left, Center, Right) corresponding with how a plugin is justified within it.
All plugins are disabled by default and you must turn on the ones you want to use. This is to avoid the complete mess that results from all plugins being on with the first use. The only plugin on at the start is the one provided by this addon to access its options easily. Just click it to start changing settings.
With plugins unlocked you can drag and drop them to other panels/sections and have them automatically adjust to their new location. There are no limitations on the drag and drop capabilities other than the new location for a plugin must be within a panel. You may also change the location of a plugin through the plugin options menu.
Almost all sub-sections of settings have a default option. The defaults follow a set pattern. First plugins check their settings, if default, they next go to their panel's settings. If the panel is also set to default then it defers to the addon's global settings. Finally, if the global settings are still set to default, then the hard coded defaults are used.
Note: It is recommended that you delete the folder(s) for an existing addon when updating to a different version. This is to keep files that are no longer used from taking up space.
Translators: To submit a translation please just edit existing files (example: DockingStation\Locales\deDE.lua and DockingStation_Config\Locales\deDE.lua) and send them to me.

Scaling tooltips of DockingStation stop working after this simple line:
/run hooksecurefunc(GameTooltip, "SetOwner", function(self, ...) DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("GTT:SO") end);
Unfortunately, the author of BasicBrokers has not been reachable for me, as I wanted to make some changes to the durability module. I'll see if I can get a curse admin to let me add the type field in svn.
I love this addon. A lot. I was just wondering if you could offer support for the addon BasicBrokers. I really like its simplicity but I just can't get it to work with DockingStation.
Anyone else having issue getting rwPetStats to show up on DockingStation cause right now I get get it to show up at all either on the bar or on the addon list in the config frame. It shows up fine on ButtonBin.
Hmm, on some addons I have attached up there, they get this gradient background like skinner. Looks fine the first time I hover over them. But as soon as I do it again, the white part of the gradient gets bigger and bigger, til it almost fills all of the tooltip (with a small black part at the bottom), making it very hard to read :S And doesn't seem to change back. I tried finding an option to change the background, but couldn't find it :S
I do have skinner on, but its not applied to tooltips (as far as I know).
Originally posted by Morgalm Just wondering if there is something you are doing changing the anchoring when the cursor leaves a frame's object.
Basically DockingStation hijacks any frame that gets anchored to it. All tooltips become centered horizontally on their respective plugin but they are clamped to the screen. When the tooltip is hidden any changes made to it are reverted other than the SetPoint stuff. The only thing I can think of that would cause that is your tooltip isn't normally clamped to the screen and you hide it when the cursor leaves the plugin but reshow it again right after.
I have removed all of the special tooltip code for the next version though so that issue shouldn't exist then. If you still want it to look right in the short term I'd say just make sure the tooltip is clamped to the screen.
Just wondering if there is something you are doing changing the anchoring when the cursor leaves a frame's object. My mods tooltip is interactive and when I leave the dockingstation object and hover over my frame the frame moves offscreen if it is near the edge. In these screenshots you can see what I mean:
Before:
After:
You can see the anchoring has changed from what I set so the tooltip wouldn't run offscreen to what looks like a TOP/BOTTOM relationship.
Edit: Also I tried with chocolatebar and I do not see the same issue.

If not what would be a comparable suggestion for tradeskills?
I'm not sure I understand what you're asking here, but I'll attempt an answer:
Ackis Recipe List's only interface is the tradeskill window. When you open that, there will be a "Scan" button, which activates ARL and shows the list of all recipes your character lacks in that tradeskill.
