This is a layout for oUF by haste, and will not run without it enabled. Works with versions 1.2 onwards.

oUF_squared is designed to be elegant and be reasonably functional. It contains:


3D portraits
Player frame
Target frame
Target of target and focus frames
Pet frame
Castbar support


If you want party/raid frames, check out oUF_obbleGrid, which is found within my UI. These are designed specifically for this layout.

I will be adding features soon which will include a simple config at the top and easier perameters for moving the frames about.

Health text gradiant colouring implemented.

Sweet!

Yay! i've seen this layout on the wow-europe UI forums and was instantly impressed with it.
Very immaginative and a step away from the cliche of layouts that are around atm.

Keep up the good work!

Comment out lines 356 to 394 in oUF_squared.lua. (The big lump of code with self.Castbar somewhere in it.)

Edit:Just noticed i hadn't tagged this as working for WOTLK.

Cool, looks sweet as pie

a little feedback about the rune bar , it's really good looking but i find it really hard too see death runes. maybe that's just me though

anyway to get em a little bigger so you can get timers too show and make the bar horizontal ? would look great to have it look like lyn's runica addon but with the border matching you ui. personal preference i guess.

good work overall really dig it!

Nice ... thank you for your work.
It looks nice but somehow i'm missing some data/display - dies several time not noticing that i was low on hp
  • a % display of my HP and my targets hp
  • a simple bar for the player like you implemented for the target
  • coloring of the HP text (player/target) red = less then 10%, orange between 11%-50%, yellow 51%-80%, green 81%-100% (rough values)

Working on number 2 and number 3 currently, should have a release by the end of tonight. I may also introduce a way to switch between the actual amount of health display and a percentage display; but that's lower down on my priorities.

By all means download the runebar art from my UI and Lyns standard Runica code and start tinkering. It's a bit specialised for me to do though, sorry.

I also must thank you for this very nice looking addon.

The things I would like to see added are:

1. Player Health as Current HP with % after (e.g. 10k 93%). Colours personally are not important to me. The current text is nice and big enough.
2. Pet HP & Power (Hunters, Locks, and DKs will appreciate this).
3. I am not sure how many people will like the look or position of the castbar. Also a Target castbar would be nice.

I really like the layout (I currently use Pazrael which I also love too) but it could use a little more information and it would be really nice.

I'm implementing number 1 atm as there's been a large call for it :P
Number 2 i like the idea of a lot, i'l see what I can do ;-).
As for the castbar, there's a target castbar which displays on top of the small healthbar; it's tiny i know, but it's low down on my priorities. It may be changed at some point, but probably not straight away.

how would i change the length of the target name above the portrait?
