This is an ART PACK. It is NOT a stand alone Warcraft add-on. In order to use this you MUST also download a small add-on called “BTex” as well. BTex will enable you to display the art contained in either of my Art Packs and use them as a backdrop for your action bars.

I have included an "How To Install.html" file for instructions of where to place these files in order for them to work in-game.

TO USE MY ARTWORK YOU MUST INSTALL THE ADD-ON CALLED: BTex (Author is Tiggi)

Details:
There are 2 Art Packs. The first pack I released in 2009 contains backgrounds that are elegant, and detailed. They are all fairly neutral as not to distract too much from the actual game and are considered my more "fancy" backgrounds.

They are named (Use these names in Btex to display them):

DarkUI
NexusUI
SFKeepUI
ZulDrakUI

The second Art Pack I have just finished (2011). These backgrounds are a little more sleek and much simpler in design. They are for those players who want a more slim looking UI but still retain a little flare as well.

They are named (Use these names in Btex to display them):

SlimUIDark
SlimUIRed
SlimUISkull
SlimUITiny1
SlimUITiny2

Im sorry, I cant really "tech" you how to make artwork.. Thats just something you have to have picked up with schooling, or on your own..

As for actualy placing your artwork in the game, there are a number of really good tutorials online you can find through google.com. Much better then i could explain here

PS to everyone else:
The this art addon still works, and BTex is probably the best one to use it with. Electroflux still works, but it hasnt been updated in forever, and Tiggy has done some great work with Btex which has made it my choice to run

Yeah Btex doesn't work right now. Try the other one he mentioned.

Its correct, and you dont need to convert the textures to TGA (And cant anyhow because the GIF image doesnt contain the proper layers you need)

When you extract the file to your hard drive after downloading, there are 4 .gif files.. thoes are SAMPLES of what the UI looks like.. they are to be deleted.

There is a directory called "UI ARTWORK" in the archive.. THATS what holds the .TGA files you need to move/use with Btex or ElectroFlux. There are 16 TGA files in that directory. Thoes are what you need

Im working on a few more yes.. but they arnt available yet for download. Ill be releasing a second Telnets UI 2 when I have enough finished that im happy with to put together a pack, Thanks for the interest! Its a good motivator to keep doin them :P

Im not sure I understand what you mean..
Everything on MY UI works fine and I have it the way I want it.. but just because I package up my addons folder and my WTF folder and allow others to download it, doesnt mean it will work flawlessly on thier machine with other mods, other settings, or other resolutions.

Since the only addon I created was the artwork, and all the other addons are available for download from here or from curse. What i dont want to be bothered with is answering questions about why someones minimap isnt working, or why thier unit frames are giving them an error. I didnt make thoes mods.. so if something goes wrong with them, it should be the author of them that helps you out. I made/drew some graphics to be used as a background, that makes me an "artist", not a programmer..

If my ARTWORK is giving someone a problem I will offer support.

To help you out though, im not using a whole lot of mods, and you can grab them yourself and set them up pretty easily.

The ones I am using are:
Bartender4 - Button Addon
ChatMOD - Chat Addon
XPBarNone - XP/Rep Bar addon (Disabling the one included in Bartender4)
Bagnon - Bag/bank addon
ELKBuffBars - Buff addon
DoTimer - another buff addon to track my dots as a lock/dk
Chinchilla - Map addon (Used to use SimpleMiniMap as well)
PitBull - Unit Frame Addon
Quartz - Castbarr Addon
Recount - DPS meter
TinyTip - ToolTip Addon

Thats all im using pretty much.. and all of the mods are available through WowMatrix or on these UI sites.. they are all pretty simple to configure too.

To help you out though, im not using a whole lot of mods, and you can grab them yourself and set them up pretty easily.

Freakor, not sure whats causing that, gotta be a mod, but btex to my knowledge doesnt touch your chat window. If your running a chat mod, look into it and see if it got "locked" somehow.. if not, check the interface settings in wow, and make sure thats not set to locked either..

As for unit frames, nah ill probably not work on any, as everyone likes thier frames a little different and with programs like pitbull you can configure everything anyhow.. plus, honestly, i dont wanna get into the trouble shooting aspect if they arnt working for someone ;P

for now, ill be sticking to background textures, and just letting people run thier own mods as they see use.
