About SimpleMarker

A simple on-screen set of raid target buttons that only appear when you are allowed to mark (raid leader/assitant or in a 5-man party) and have a target. Easily positioned by dragging where you want it to be.

When first installed, the frame will be positioned in the center of the screen. To unlock it and move it, see the slash commands below.

Slash Commands

The following slash commands are available:

/simplemarker            Displays slash command help message
/simplemarker config     Pops up the configuration UI
/simplemarker lock       Locks or unlocks the marking frame
/simplemarker scale N    Sets the frame size. Must be between 0.25 and 2.0

PProvost A Deviate Faerie Dragon Forum posts: 13 File comments: 126 Uploads: 24	Fryght- If you aren't able to mark (in party or lead/assist in raid) it will not show up unless it is unlocked. Type this: /simplemarker lock That will toggle the lock. When it is unlocked, it will have a border and a background. You can move it around by dragging it. While it is unlocked it will not be functional for marking, however, so when you have it where you want it, type /simplemarker lock again. Good luck and let me know if you have any issues.

Once I put it in addon folder and loaded game the frame isn't showing in the middle of the screen....do you have to be in a party before it will show? I did delete markhelper from interface/addon. Do you thing maybe the lingering Markhelper saved variables could be messing with it somehow. I know I know...those need deleted anyway but I didn't have time before work this morning to do that. But I will say this...if I can get it to work..this looks to be the best dungeon marker period. Thanks for looking at my comment and hopefully we can get this working. Edit: I tried slash commands to unlock/lock and also reset. Last edited by Fryght : 01-06-10 at 07:03 AM.

Enter a value number ("1", "1.25" or whatever) and the scale is set properly. Be nice to know the scale range ahead of time, though. Also would be very nice to get the ability to set targets when its not locked, as many mods like this allow. In dealing with new unit frames, mods, etc., its quite a hassle to type in "/simplemarker lock" twice when you want to move this. Near impossible to do if something overlaps the SimpleMarker frame in combat (for example).
