this is just a question, the blank texture for the shapeshift bar.
i deleted the shapeshift bar textures and put

  x = {ShapeshiftBarFrame:GetRegions()}
  for i = 1, ShapeshiftBarFrame:GetNumRegions() do
     x[i]:SetAlpha(0)
  end
at the top of stancebar.lua, is there anything i miss this way?, i dont have a shaman or paladin to test it only a druid, but it seems to work.

No that is correct. The max number of stances possibly can create is 10. Once Roth UI beta in online all other addons that got changed in the process will be updated. Added a tooltip for dragable frames. That comes in handy as you can see exactly what is dragable under your cursor.

Oh and you always can lock bars in the config. This will remove the tooltip.

Sorry to bug you again zork...

There is one thing I noticed and always forgot to mention to you. The size of the Stance bar. Have you noticed that the frame it's way bigger than the number of buttons? You can hover it way to the right even if the stance bar has only 3 buttons like the Warrior one.

And because that responds to mouse, you can't click it move your character.

I smell tainting. Hard to do because show/hide of Blizz elements in combat is protected.

Using setscale and setalpha on the holder frames upon entering the vehicle mode would work though because those are not protected methods.

Each holder frame has a global name. You could add that to the vehicle button show/hide function and change alpha/scale of the bars you want to hide in vehicle.

*edit*
SetScale(0.001) and SetAlpha(0) should do it.

Gonna try it myself.

zork, would it be possible to hide all bars except the bar 1 when in a vehicle? It's confusing to have the other bars showing, you only have 1 bar by default when in a vehicle. Or you could put an option for it.

Gonna test the micro menu stuff a bit before release.

The talent switch bug is sth that I cannot fix. Guess its a bug with button referencing, securehandlers and units that have normal actionbars and bonusactionbars aswell.

But: It only happens if you had a form active on talent switch.
Solution is easy: Leave your form before switching specs, so that on talent switch your normal actionbar is active. You can even add that to macro doing it all in one click.

macro with cancelform and talent toggle.

I'm leveling a rogue and the micro menu disappears whether I'm stealth or not. I've grabbed the SVN version referenced and it seems to have fixed the problem. I'll let you know if I notice it not working as intended.

Sure that is possible. But this is advanced only and requires you to change the setpoints of specific actionbar button on a new use3x4layout condition. You could use my use2x6layout condition as a guide and try it out.

I know you try and keep things simple and that there are other more "advanced" bar mods but is it possible to have a bar that is 4 rows of three instead of just two of six and one of twelve?

Please... you can move bars ingame. Why would you bother about overlaying bars if you just could move them anywhere you want. Some classes have pet and stancebar both at the same time, all you have to do is grab one of those bars and move it. Easy.

As my guild was running around in a few Vanilla raids last night I noticed that the Metamorphosis button on the stance bar was in the exact same place as the first button on the pet bar. After a little checking into the config.lua settings I found that the stance bar and the pet bar have the exact same default position settings. To make sure I didn't screw something up while checking out all the changes I downloaded the latest version again and checked the included config.lua file and found the same results. I don't have a hunter that I feel comfortable testing the stance/pet bar combination with so I don't know if this is affecting hunters as well and I don't know of any other classes that would use this stance/pet bar combination. As a workaround I have adjusted the position of the stance bar so that it appear slightly to the left of the pet bar although, now that I think about it, it would probably be better if it was above the pet bar.
