Intro
This is an actionbar mod. It uses the default Blizzard actionbars and adds some functionality and styling on top. This mod does moving/scaling/fading only. No graphical adjustments are made. (Use rActionButtonStyler for that)

Install
The zip-file contains two folders. rLib and rActionBarStyler. Put both in your AddOns folder.

I smell tainting. Hard to do because show/hide of Blizz elements in combat is protected.

Using setscale and setalpha on the holder frames upon entering the vehicle mode would work though because those are not protected methods.

Each holder frame has a global name. You could add that to the vehicle button show/hide function and change alpha/scale of the bars you want to hide in vehicle.

*edit*
SetScale(0.001) and SetAlpha(0) should do it.

Gonna try it myself.

zork, would it be possible to hide all bars except the bar 1 when in a vehicle? It's confusing to have the other bars showing, you only have 1 bar by default when in a vehicle. Or you could put an option for it.

Gonna test the micro menu stuff a bit before release.

The talent switch bug is sth that I cannot fix. Guess its a bug with button referencing, securehandlers and units that have normal actionbars and bonusactionbars aswell.

But: It only happens if you had a form active on talent switch.
Solution is easy: Leave your form before switching specs, so that on talent switch your normal actionbar is active. You can even add that to macro doing it all in one click.

macro with cancelform and talent toggle.

I'm leveling a rogue and the micro menu disappears whether I'm stealth or not. I've grabbed the SVN version referenced and it seems to have fixed the problem. I'll let you know if I notice it not working as intended.

Sure that is possible. But this is advanced only and requires you to change the setpoints of specific actionbar button on a new use3x4layout condition. You could use my use2x6layout condition as a guide and try it out.

I know you try and keep things simple and that there are other more "advanced" bar mods but is it possible to have a bar that is 4 rows of three instead of just two of six and one of twelve?

Please... you can move bars ingame. Why would you bother about overlaying bars if you just could move them anywhere you want. Some classes have pet and stancebar both at the same time, all you have to do is grab one of those bars and move it. Easy.

As my guild was running around in a few Vanilla raids last night I noticed that the Metamorphosis button on the stance bar was in the exact same place as the first button on the pet bar. After a little checking into the config.lua settings I found that the stance bar and the pet bar have the exact same default position settings. To make sure I didn't screw something up while checking out all the changes I downloaded the latest version again and checked the included config.lua file and found the same results. I don't have a hunter that I feel comfortable testing the stance/pet bar combination with so I don't know if this is affecting hunters as well and I don't know of any other classes that would use this stance/pet bar combination. As a workaround I have adjusted the position of the stance bar so that it appear slightly to the left of the pet bar although, now that I think about it, it would probably be better if it was above the pet bar.

you can still cast from the bar, you just have to hover over nothing. you still can see the tooltip what's under your cursor

Yes that is correct. Keeping the whole bar alive while you are hovering some dropout of a button...well thats hard to track. And no I'm not going to invest time into doing that. Just put those stuff in a bar that is not autohidden or cast it from the spellbook.

for some reason I cant get ractionbuttonstyler to work on bartender4 so im wondering:
is there a way to make ractionbarstyler to change to a specific bar when targeting friendlies?

No clue what you did but all I can say that it is working correctly.
Make sure the mod is correctly installed (follow install instructions).

What I do not really understand is that you have no keybindings on your buttons they should be there if you only have rActionBarStyler active.

You could post me your config.lua

It works on my lock just fine. Maybe you have moved the bar out of sight.

Change your config for your petbar to

Maybe it's a combination of just one stancebutton (metamorphose) and petbar. Because it does work on the hunter but that one has more than one stance.

no pet bar for the loc

For some reason when ever i log onto my loc he has no pet action bar to use.. nothing to command the pet to attack stay or follow, .ect.ect.
on my hunter it works fine but not on the lock.

Oh by the way love the actionbarstyler and have used it since burning crusades

No warriors are different because we are stance only. Bonusactionbars are working fine if you stay at them. The error seems to occur when you switch out of the bonusactionbar without that it gets noticed...so to speak. Currently I'm not even able to reproduce it...those errors are the hardest to fix because you get no stable testing environment.
