thx for reply and I will install one of those as well as get rid of the button one it may or may not have been on. I have just cleared all mods out of my interface and wtf folder so I will see if it happens again i will try to make a special run with rogue to check it. Thanks again.

I think Dominos can do this. It may be possible for this mod aswell but you would need to hook the shapeshift event and change one additional bar. I think there is a changeBar API function. But it's tricky and advanced only.

1) Hook the ShapeShift Event
2) Use http://www.wowwiki.com/API_ChangeActionBarPage

rogue - gunship issue - bar stops allowing keypress or clicks

I have an issue with the bar on gunship when going from a cannon to dps and back into cannon. When you start bar is fine going into cannon bar is fine and can control cannon no issues, exit cannon and you can no longer use your default actionbar by clicking or keypress. the vehicle bar always works its just once u enter the cannon(vehicle) and exit your default actionbar no longer works and the only way to fix it is to reload ui. I have not had a chance to test on another char. But I have always used the latest version of your bar and only seems to be issue with that fight not seen issue with any other fights that use vehicle bar.

Advanced only. You need to add some loops that will reset the button position.
If you want to know button names type in "/fstack" in chat and hover the frame. This may or may not have side effects.

You need to do /reloadui when you editing LUA files. If you do /reloadui after you moved stuff ingame you will reset what you did. Just move your stuff and if you want to save that just relog (logout/login) your character.

when i move my pet ui, bags etc. it doesn't save

hi, i have been messing around with the your RothUI addon which i have just downloaded (which is amazing btw ) and i have been trying to move my bags, pet ui etc. and after i have moved them i have done /console reloadui like you said i should to save it, but every time i turn the testmode of it never saves where i have placed them. i have been doing some looking around in my characters folder (the one i have been moving the bags and pet ui. on) and i found that there is no layout-cache.txt folder in there. i was wondering if you could tell me why it is not saving and could you help me fix this problem, or if there is something i am doing wrong but im pretty sure i followed all of the instructions correctly.

Oh, sorry, didn't meant to imply that your totembar was broken or anything - the vanilla UI creating some elements of the bar on initialization and others as needed without any kind of internal consistency is what's driving me nuts. And yes, the latest version is what I'm using.

Like I say, that block of code works; it just doesn't stand up to the rest of the mod. =P Now, if I could only get the Totemic Recall button to play nice with SetPoint calls...

Actually the latest download version has the shaman totem bar fixed. Use this at a base. Adding onmouseover functionality to those bastards of buttons...hell good luck with that. I'm lucky that they stick in place now.

Been using this and the equally awesome rActionButtonStyler for ages - both work for me without any problems, save that it's always bugged me that the totem bar lacked the show/hide on mouseover functionality of the other bars. After trying to add such behaviour on my own, needless to say I've figured out why: the damn thing is an inconsistent nightmare.

I did eventually work out how to do it, though my implementation is pretty bad. It works, but generates a fair amount of garbage memory and uses more CPU cycles than I'm comfortable with. Not sure what else to do, though - the totem bar seemingly creates new frame elements as you use it, making hooking each individual element a pain in the rear.

Perhaps Roth or someone else with lua/WoW API savvy has a better idea of how to do this, perhaps even make it a solid enough feature to add to the mod in a future release? If anyone's curious to use it or improve it, here's what to do.

A fix for some taint

I have been having issues with this mod for some time, it would error out for no reason on my Main and some of my alts (no error message window, just fails >.<) and with some playing around, I think I have figured it out thanks to the Shaman portion:

Wanted to see if rABS works ok in cata. and i got this error

so i -- the errors.

and did work fine. but i found that when you turn into say a cat. the bar is blank.

as i dont see the skills or a frame where i can add the skills as a cat.
