INTRO

rActionBarStyler moves, scales and fades the Blizzard action bars. No graphical adjustments are made. Use rActionButtonStyler for that purpose. You can show/hide additional actionbars directly in the your interface settings.

For settings check the config.lua. Character specific adjustments can be added to the charspecific.lua.

Question Just wondering...

I really like this action bar mod more so than any other I've used and I appreciate all your hard work on it, zork, so kudos to you.

Just wondering if it's possible to create a different button/bar layout other than the standard 1x12 / 2x6. Say like a 3x4 button layout? Still uses the default 12 buttons, but uses the 3 main actionbars (bar1,2,3 respectively).

Example: (0 = unused button ; X = used button)
bar3: 0 X X X X 0 0 X X X X 0
bar2: 0 X X X X 0 0 X X X X 0
bar1: 0 X X X X 0 0 X X X X 0

Reason I ask is because I play a DK mostly, but am looking to re-level a rogue. I currently use the 1x12 layout on my DK (the bars don't change based on stance/presence) and play with a Belkin n52te (use all 15 buttons including the scroll wheel on it for all my keybinds/main abilities) and the numpad on my g15 keyboard. But, with my rogue due to the current limitations on the mod, I can't do the same on the 3 actionbars like I can with my DK (I know this may also be a limitation on the rogue class as well, perhaps) unless I use a different bar mod like Dominoes/Bartender or Macaroon.

If it ain't possible or too difficult to code then no problem.

My Question is though if it is possible to show Bar 3 also in a 6x2 Button System?

CPU usage?

Hi. I used Addon Profiler to see the CPU usage of all the addons I have. Apparently rActionButtonStyler has the highest CPU usage while in idle, as shown below.

I'm not sure if that amount of avg CPU for rActionButtonStyler is normal or not. Can you comment on this? Thank you very much.

Normal. I am hooking the blizzard ActionButtonOnUpdate function to style the buttons. What you see there is the Blizzard CPU usage of that function. It becomes visible because I am hooking it. If you would use the default actionbuttons you would have the same cpu usage just that you can't see the usage of Blizzard stuff.

Some guy asked it before, but got no answer. Is there a way to get it to Rightclick Selfcast? I even made another addon to do Rightclick Selfcast, works with nMainbar, but not with this.

I have a problem with my stealth "stance"

when I switch forms to bear and cat, it correctly changes the skills,
but when I'm in cat, and go to prowl, the bar does not change.

is there an option to enable this, or is it simply not avaible.

Do the default Blizzard bars do this? No they don't. Cat stealth is not a stance by itself like the rogue stealth.

This is a very good idea, would it be possible to add a actionbar swap bar 2 as well.

Example
Bar 1 (This bar already does that is possible to have done for bar 2)
Battle Stance (No Swap)
Defense Stance(Use Bar 10) - Blizzard
Beserker Stance(Use Bar 9) - Blizzard

Bar 2
Battle Stance(No Swap)
Defense Stance(Use Bar 8)
Beserker Stance(Use Bar 7)

There jsut isnt enough room to make 24 macros(12 for each spec for bar2) and still keep up with other macros.

If there is a addon that will work with this one that will do so w/o adding to much lag plz let me know.

For the Druid on event
Cat(no swap)
Cat(prowl)(use bar 10)

Sorry for missing the thing about posting on the action bars page :P Im guessing im not the first to do it and definitely wont be the last.

Anyway, will then new shaman totem bar be supported sometime after 3.2 hits? I know a lot of other addon creators arent as they somehow think poor addons like totemcaddy work just fine Fact is they dont :/

add this at the bottom of file. It's a fast alternative to have the totem bar and yeah it need some tweaks but at least it work fine for now. You can move the bar where you want with mouseoverbuttondown.

Strikingly similar to the Dominos temp-fix I posted last night.....

I had actually checked this addon and some of the custom UI packages around to see what everyone was doing for it.
