    Talented is a replacement to the default Talent UI, with a lot of added features.

    Feature List
    • See the complete talent tree on a single frame.
    • View and switch to your alternate spec when you've bought it.
    • Create and view templates for all classes and hunter pets. Hunters can view the spec of their pet and apply templates to them.
    • Set a specific template as a target, and see it when you're spending your next talent point on level up.
    • Apply complete templates with a single click, after a talent wipe.
    • Share your current build with other, or any template you've made.
    • Import and export templates directly from the major online talent calculators.
    • Inspection of other characters will also inspect their alternate spec, if they have one.
    • Added a Glyph frame, similar to the one from Blizzard's Default UI. This frame is independent from Talented main frame, though.
    • A macro command /talented apply <template> allows to automatically apply a template based on its name.
    • Shift-clicking on an entry in the template menu will open the template in a secondary frame, allowing to compare two templates side by side.
    Talenvet v2.4.6 is compatible with wow patch 3.3.5.
    Talented v2.4.5 is compatible with the new wowhead URL format.
    Talented v2.4.4 is compatible with wow 3.3.0
    Talented v2.4 is compatible with wow 3.2.0
    Talented v2.4 split the glyph frame support into its own lod module.
    Talented v2.4 stops checking the validity of all templates at load time. This makes Talented load faster and use less memory at startup. This means that the invalid templates for death knights will be fixed when you try to select them.
    Talented v2.4 adds the point distribution of each templates to the corresponding menu entry, as well as the name of the primary tree.
    Talented v2.4 fixes a graphical glitch that occurs when RestartGx() is called.

    Talented v2.3 integrated Talented_SpecTabs with Talented.
    Talented 2.2 fixed some missing pets errors, and provides several usability improvements to the UI.

    caveat to Hunters: There seems to be an issue with Talented 2.4.6 and some pet templates. See http://www.wowace.com/addons/talente...nts-crash-wow/ for the details.

    As I can not reproduce this issue, I have no idea how to fix it. If you have the issue, please try to provide as much information about it as possible, and scenario to reproduce the bug.

    I looked threw it kinda quickly and honestly have no clue where to even begin...

    I like the AddOn but kinda sucks that this Blizzard seemed to introduce this issue and now makes the addon/my guide I got (for talent builds) kinda useless together.

    If anyone else takes the time to implement the fix please let me know. I guess I'm just stuck not being able to use the guides talent builds cause of this......

    I'll read threw it and see if I can figure out a fix; or implement one into the addon. I've never coded with LUA (or what ever the addon coding language is called again) so I doubt I'll be able to bu I can try.

    AFAICT this is an issue with the blizzard menu system. There is fix that is available somewhere (here, in fact).

    I do not plan to fix this myself (unless it can be proven that the issue has nothing to do with the bug explained in the post I've just pointed to).

    You'll have to ask Blizzard to fix it.

    An "issue" I have run into is that even if you have more than 19 templates saved for one class it will only let you select from the first 19.

    Is there a way to change this? Or am I having an issue that shouldn't be there?

    You can either spend directly your points or use a template to plan and then apply it all at once. I do not plan to add another way of applying talent points. If you feel uncomfortable by Talented applying points as you click on them, there's an optional confirmation dialog so that you can make sure you click on the right talent.

    There are only two reasons for spending talent points. Either you just earn one on a character you're levelling, in which case you can click and confirm (which is functionaly identical to click then learn that is now available in the default UI) or your talents has been reset, in which case you should apply a template (which is functionaly superior to multiple clic then learn from the default UI).

    I see no reason to add another method to Talented, or to change the existing one. People that try Talented now might be confused a bit as it is a different approach than what the Default UI chose, but changing Talented now would confuse all the players that have been using Talented years before Blizzard implemented click then learn.

    He is wanting to be able to place points without doing a template first basically.

    I don't think Talented can do that.
