Click a LDB plugin to drop the cheapest thing in your bags. (The cheapest grey item, by default...)

If you have an auction addon that supports Tekkub's "GetAuctionBuyout" API (I know AuctionLite does), it can optionally use the auction buyout price as the value instead of the vendor price.

It adds a "sell all" button to the merchant frame, and can automatically sell everything if you want it to.

Yes, this is just like FuBar/Broker_GarbageFu. It has all the crap I didn't use stripped out, though, and it actually includes a price database. I'm such a size queen.

(I was just going to fix an issue I was having with GarbageFu, and was horrified by the code. So I wrote this.)

You can configure:

Quality threshold for items to drop
Items you always want to drop, regardless of quality
Items you *never* want to drop, regardless of quality

Change Log - DropTheCheapestThing

3.5.1:

Sort the sell list properly
change how an open merchant frame is detected, so ArkInventory can't mess it up any more

3.5:

Ctrl-right-click the broker to add the current item to the ignore list
Color-code auction/vendor in the tooltip
Option to use the value of a full stack instead of the current value
Remove AceConsole
Small tweaks: global profile by default, longer event bucket, ldb icon changes to quickdrop item

3.4.1: Missed a reference to ItemPrice-1.1.
3.4: Bump the TOC and remove ItemPrice-1.1 since it's no longer needed.
3.3.4: Fix "always consider" -- I broke it when I split drop/sell.
3.3.3: Bump TOC. Split out drop and sell thresholds. Fix error when rapidly clicking the LDB plugin.
3.3.2: Update ItemPrice-1.1 to include most new items from the 3.1 patch.
3.3.1: Tiny bugfix, stops an error when hiding the minimap icon.
3.3: Stop the sell-all button from overlapping other windows. Prevent a potential bug in the LDB config.
3.2: I suck, and was missing another lib. Same deal as 3.1.
3.1: There was a missing library -- if you had no other Ace3 addons, there'd be an error.
3: Optional auction prices. Add a minimap icon for people who don't want a broker display.
2.1: Fix "never consider" options. Make the sell-all button update if the merchant frame is open and you change settings.
2: Add config options, and assorted small tweaks.
1.1: Just expose the DB object as a quick patch for not having a config yet.
1: Initial release.

to remove the sell button remove the line button.lua from DropTheCheapestThing.toc

There was a bunch of stuff here that Fonjask already knows.

EDIT: well after readign a few more posts back, it looks liek i jsut recapped everything you already know. It looks like your problem really lies with B2F and the comms between drop and it. Dunno what to tell you. Troll that board with some threats of low fat chocolate cake and eventually you will get an answer.

I still second the motion to remove the sell button or have an autosell feature. XD

That's the whole problem, it doesn't show up in Broker2FuBar nor FuBar.

Yeah you can drop greys with this, but you need LDB Display, like titan bar, carousel, uh, makerocketgonow, and tehres a few others i cant think of atm. Or if you use fubar, you can get broker2fubar, and it should display on your fubar.

I would also like so second the motion for either removing the button, or adding an autosell, cause currently i have 2 addons that do similar things running XD

I used GarbageFu specifically to destroy soul shards if i needed a space and didn't want to destroy a grey (I hate the soul shard programs that delete all of them over a certain number). I also set it to allow me to shift+click delete Fish Scales and Fish Oil if I didn't have any greys. Other than that, great work!

Yes, completely agree.

This is in nearly all respects a fantastic, less-monsterous replacement for GarbageFu. But having a full text readout of the cheapest item on the LDB display (which can't be changed) is often quite...monsterous.

So would like an option to display just the price of the item in the LDB display. Or else just a symbol notifying you that you have grays you can drop (with details shown in the tooltip as it is now).

Otherwise, great work.

You need to have a LibDataBroker 'host', but I'm surprised that FuBar doesn't recognise it with Broker2FuBar (B2F doesn't recognise it either, still waiting for author response).
