Intro

This is rBBS an art framework. It provides basic functionality that can be used by rBBS layout styles to display art, models and orbs on screen. The addon does nothing on it's own. You need rBBS-layouts and probably an actionbar mod to make it work properly. This mod just displays art.
Install
Download rBBS and any rBBS-layout you like. Put both into your AddOns folder and start the game afterwards. Make sure you have any kind of actionbar mod installed that hides the default Blizzard actionbar!
Layouts
Default layouts are provided. They must be downloaded spereratly, like oUF layouts. rBBS is just a framework that needs layouts to display data.

Current available layouts:
Roth UI (Roth UI look alike)
OrbsOnly (Example for player, pet and target orbs)
OrbsOnly2 (player and target orbs only)
Diablo1 (Diablo 1 flavoured layout)
Diablo2 (Diablo 2 flavoured layout)
Diablo3 (Diablo 3 flavoured layout)
Diablo3Adjusted (Diablo 3 flavoured layout, but with WoW 12 button system)
Diablo3NoOrbs (Diablo 3 flavoured layout, but wihtout orbs and the bar texture matches WoW 12 button system)
Aion (Aion flavoured layout)
Backdrop (Example layout showing how to do backdrops)

Ingame menu
Use the rBBS menu gem or the /rbbs slash command to open the menu. You can do the following things ingame: lock, unlock, show, hide, resize, scale, move, reset.

Dragframe
Version 1.03 introduced a new API function, the dragframe. If you want to make use of it create it first in your layout and have other frames parent it. (See example layouts). If you move/scale/resize the dragframe all hooked frames will follow.

Fluid animations
The new rBBS supports the fluid animation system of Roth UI 4.009+. You can choose between, no animation, no animation+classcolored, or choose one of the 23 preset animations.
How to create a layout?
Try editing one of the example layouts first to get a feeling for the files. The example layouts use a config.lua and a style.lua. The config.lua has all the config data for the frames you want to spawn in the style function. Most of the config data is optional. But some has to be set. The config does nothing by itself. The style.lua uses the API functions to spawn frames of different types using the config data. In some cases you want hook the frame to the dragframe. The dragframe can be passed as the third element and is optional.
API
The following API spawn function are currently specified. Each API function can handle a buch of config parameters. Set the config parameters in the config of your style and call the spawn function with the specifc config entry. Check layout examples for more.

What is so special with the dragframe?
Other frames can anchor the dragframe. If you size the dragframe all other frames will be scaled on your dragframe resize.
If you move the dragframe all other frames that hooked the dragframe will follow.
Thus you can now resize your whole art again by resizing one frame in the game.

Health Abbreviation

Hi! Thanks for the awesome addon and beautiful graphic work, easily one of my favorites.

My only question is I can't figure out how to change the health/mana amounts to their actual number instead of an abbreviation (i.e., where it says 22.8k I want it to say 22843 instead).

I've seen that other people have brought up the same problem and I just can't find the answer to it! Please help!

I've been looking into the core.lua file, is there a way to change the "Mana Orb" into like..." Target Health Orb colour depending on class..etc" ?

is just that I'm a DK and only need to see numbers of my runic power floating. dont want such a good nice and big orb gone to waste haha!

Its the UNIT_RAGE event that doesn't get fired anymore. Since I don't want to use onUpdate events (which are called on every frame).

Rage Glitch

Nice mod but there is a very small glitch with rage where it doesn't always go down to 0 on the orb. Sometimes it stays at 1 or 2.

I guess you are using rActionBarStyler as your barmod. Disable rActionBarStyler and download Dominos.

ohhh kk well u know the bags bar wich is hidden in the low bottom right and the menu bar wich is hidden in middle part of the top part....uhhh i kant move them and also i want to remove them i have some stuff there how do i take em out....*theyr rlly ugly >_>*

Es gibt dafür keine Konfig Einstellung. Du musst den Wert direkt im LUA Code in der Funktion ändern. Es kommt drauf an welchen "Style" du ausgewählt hast. Das verändert wo im Code du was ändern musst.

Die Style Funktionen beginnen ab Zeile 579. Wonach du in diesen Funktionen suchen musst ist dieser Funktionsaufruf:

Der lila markierte Wert steht für die X-Achse. Der rote Wert bestimmt die Art der Kugel und der blaue Wert ist die Y-Achse. Du musst in deinem Fall in der entsprechenden Funktion den X-Wert der Lebens und der Mana-Kugel anpassen.

What, rBottomBarStyler stripped. If you deleted the textures and increased the scaling already all you can do is to adjust the hardcoded setpoints of the used layout in the rbottombarstyler\core.lua file. Advanced only.

The instructions say: only do /reloadui after you change the ART. Not the scale. Settings are saved when you leave the game. The settings get already saved per character. Atleast they did when I left WoW in December.

Hi there . brilliant art u got there , i fished your addon from a guy in a net cafe in greece :> honestly gongratulations .
I'm having one hell of annoying problem though :

I configure the scale to /rbbs setscale 1.05 .
Following your instructions /console reloadui .
And after the reload the scale is Reset to 1.00
Also, using /rbbs setart d3 (tried them all) and then /console reloadui isn't working for me .

It looks tiny and simple but with my near-to-zero experience about mods i am knocking my head to the desk right now .

What am i doing wrong?
How can i alternatively save the settings for each of my characters?
