Well,I used the version 1.2.1 just now and I think there is a bug.
I set an icon to monitor the duration of a debuff such as curse of agony,
when i cast it, the icon shows the duration right,but if i change a new target without this debuff. the icon should be no duration,but it still shows the duration of previous target.
my options: debuff /target /show always/show timer/only show if cast by self

Thanks a lot for your working

Technically it's not a bug, it's a feature! =)

It's blinking off because your GCD means that it's not pressable. I did this because the only other option is to have buttons continue to enter their usable state 1.5 seconds before their CD ends (because a CD is indistinguishable from a GCD in the code.)

I can put it back to how it was in the next version though.

I just used the newest update(1.2.1) and found one strange thing:

If I set one ICON to show a cooldown ability as it is usable, for example, set icon type as "cooldown" of Stormstrike(Shaman) when it is "usable". Every time when you cast any spell such as "Earth Shock", would make the ICON(cooldown of Stormstrike) just disappear and then show up. that is, you cast spells one by one, the icon flashes again and again.

This situation didn't occur in version 1.2.0.
Hope you can understand what I say
I get the blinking out of icons too. Some bug has crept into 1.2.1. Thanks for addressing if you can.

For all you ungrateful bastards: Here is the next TellMeWhen release.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/05erih...Whenv1.2.1.rar

Changes:
-fixed some more crash bugs
-You can now enter either spellIDs or spell names into the dialog box for choosing what an icon is bound to.
-reactive abilities with cooldowns like Revenge for warrs will now show a cooldown timer if they're set to show Always or show when Unusable.
Well, learning to read is my new years resolution.

Thanks for taking the time to do the updates. I'll try your version.

I think if I had a wishlist for this addon it would be:

- Don't show icons as 'usable' when you don't have enough mana, rage, focus, runic power/runes to perform them. Just because an ability is off cooldown doesn't mean it's 100% usable.

- Better accuracy with conditional abiliites like Hammer of Wrath and Execute.

I updated this myself, would be nice if released from the author or fan updater

Starting at line 580 in TellMeWhen.lua
Code:
function TellMeWhen_Icon_Reactive_OnEvent(self, event)
	if ( event == "ACTIONBAR_UPDATE_USABLE" ) then
		local englishClass = select(2, UnitClass("player"))
		if englishClass == "ROGUE" or englishClass == "DEATHKNIGHT" or englishClass == "WARRIOR" then
			TellMeWhen_Icon_ReactiveCheck_Focus(self);
		else
			TellMeWhen_Icon_ReactiveCheck(self);
		end
	end
end

function TellMeWhen_Icon_ReactiveCheck_Focus(icon)
	local usable, _ 	= IsUsableSpell(TellMeWhen_GetSpellNames(icon.name,1))
	local timeLeft, _	= select(2, GetSpellCooldown(icon.name))
	if ( usable ) and ( timeLeft <= 1.5 ) then
		icon:SetAlpha(icon.usableAlpha);
	elseif ( not usable ) or ( timeLeft > 1.5 ) then
		icon:SetAlpha(icon.unusableAlpha);
	end
end

function TellMeWhen_Icon_ReactiveCheck(icon)
	local usable, nomana = IsUsableSpell(TellMeWhen_GetSpellNames(icon.name,1));
	local _, timeLeft, _ = GetSpellCooldown(icon.name);
	if ( usable ) and ( timeLeft <= 1.5 ) then
		icon:SetAlpha(icon.usableAlpha);
	elseif ( not usable and not nomana ) or ( timeLeft > 1.5 ) then
		icon:SetAlpha(icon.unusableAlpha);
	end
end
I uploaded my TMW, you can download it at http://www.sharehoster.de/dl/5c9d366...0bc8dc9a24a1d1

This seems to more of a request for a "standard" timer function than the effect-tracking functions that TellMeWhen provides. You might consider using a timer add-on like Quartz for that purpose. You could change your Magma totem button to a macro that starts up a timer and then casts magma totem, as in:

#showtooltip Magma Totem
/qt Magma 15
/cast Magma Totem
