Suggestions

You could drag the already placed icons to another place?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner orbenn, but i have been busy. Feel free to integrate any and all changes from my fan update into the main project. Will take a closer look at stuff this weekend.

Also i might have to get this fan update closed down so people don't get confused

New Version. Original Project Reclaimed

Thanks to the WoWInterface mods after several months of trying to contact the original author (without success) I've been given control of the original project for TellMeWhen. I've added ooze (the guy who created this fan update) to the project managers list there so we can both continue to make updates. The original author lieandswell remains on it too in case he ever comes back.

Version 1.2.3 and all future updates are now/will be available on the original TellMeWhen project page.
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ellMeWhen.html
It's up to ooze what will become of the fan update project but I recommend just replacing everything with a link to the original.

In 1.2.3 I've made a fix for the GCD issue. I'm still not 100% satisfied with the way it works, but it's really close and the things I still want to change should be unnoticeable for most people.

@Cassie Something is goofy with your userdata and/or the mod didn't properly upgrade the way variables are stored for you. I recommend uninstalling/reinstalling the mod (load the game up once with it uninstalled then /exit and reinstall) A proper mass-reset button is on my to-do list.

@Beanstalk
I haven't tested this myself, but you should be able to monitor totems already by monitoring the buff they provide. (mouse over the buff to get the name) As a bonus this will also help you make sure that any totems you've dropped are still in range of where you're fighting.

@VoxDragon
drag&Drop is on the to-do list. Individual 'combat only' is an interesting idea. Theoretically ALL the options (dual spec, combat only) could be available on a per-icon basis with the only group options being size, columns & rows. Only hurdle at this point is finding time to implement it while I'm still farming for primordials to get my BiS crafted legs. =/

love this addon! great functionality for me.

two suggestions i think would be great for this addon are:

1. ability to drag and drop monitored spells/buffs box to box. sometimes i want to reposition my monitored spells/buff and presently the only way to do that is redo the two boxes in question. or even have an option where monitored buffs/spells intelligently gravitate towards one location as they appear. for example how blizz buffs gravitate towards the top right. so that there are no holes in between them.

2. ability to set each box for 'combat only' or 'always show' individually.

If that is reasonably easy to implement, it would be awesome if you could also monitor totems with this addon (e.g. show/don't show icon when Magma Totem is not up)

If you do decide to implement this, it would be even more awesome if it were possible to monitor a totem class as well as specific totems (e.g. show/don't show icon as long as any fire totem is up, instead of just Magma Totem)

Global Cool Down ??

The only thing that I have been hoping to see added to this amazing addon, is GCD support.

Something as simple as the "clock" animation on the button would be really helpful.

The classes that I play, use instant spells for the most part so I like to be able to "see" when I can hit the next available spell.

Also, i'm trying to set up a Corruption timer on Focus. The options i set are: debuff /Focus /show Present/show timer/only show if cast by self. But when i switch targets the timer disappears (though the corruption icon still remains until corruption falls off the focus). I have to mention this worked as intended before i upgraded from 1.2.0.
I'll try sorting out that bug . For now downgrade to 1.2.0 if that worked correctly =)

1.2.2 seems to work fine, at least i don't use it except to watch my buffs.
But i get this error when i logon:

1x TellMeWhen-1.2.2\TellMeWhen.lua:110: attempt to index field 'Spec' (a nil value)
TellMeWhen-1.2.2\TellMeWhen.lua:90: in function <TellMeWhen\TellMeWhen.lua:81>

Locals:
self = TellMeWhen_ExecutiveFrame {
0 = <userdata>
}
event = "VARIABLES_LOADED"

Thanks
You can already make vertical bars.
Go into GameMenu->Interface->addons tab->TellMeWhen then change the bar you're interested in to have 1 column but however many rows you want. You can also add multiple rows AND columns to get a grid of tellmewhen icons.
