oUF Aion UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

oUF_Aion UI is made to work for 1680x1050, it works out of the box for 1440x900, 1920x1200, ... should work for all widescreen resolutions. Even though the art on the bottom, might be somewhat small/big by default, depending on your resolution.


I added oUF_MoveableFrames plugin support in version 1.1, which will allow you to position the frames in game. NOTE: To move a frame you have to hold down the ALT and CONTROL KEY and drag the frame. You can move party and raid with ALT + CONTROL, too. Just don't click on the bars directly, but a little aside of them



I don't use any UI scale at all. I don't have this option checked. Or in other words this UI is basically build around an UI scale of 1.0.
If you are using another resolution than 1680x1050, you might have to adjust your UI scale until it fits.

NOTE:
1.) Pretty much any addon included in this UI is heavily customized, I don't take any credits for this.
However, you shouldn't update any of the addons, manually!
2.) If something spits out errors or stops working, tell me please.
3.) Read the changelog, it contains usefull information!
4.) For in depth information/questions concerning unitframes head over to oUF_Aion layout page and check the comments/changelog, before asking, please.

Last but not least:
I will only support this to the point where it comes to bug fixing. If you want to customize it, you are on your own. This is a necessary step, to keep my sanity. Well, what's left of it.


SETUP:

1.) backup you font, interface and wtf folder
2.) Extract everything into your \WorldofWarcraft\ folder
3.) Make sure you rename the folder YOURACCOUNTNAME to ... guess what ...
4.) load the "Default" profile for Dominos (actionbars) ingame


This and That:
* Blizzards Calendar is accessible by right clicking on the minimap
* Tracking is accessible by middle clicking on the minimap
* Chat frames minimize after 40seconds of inactivity - you can change the duration in Chicchai
* you can move all bag frames by holding ALT
* you can move nClock by holding ALT
* to open a GM ticket type /GM or /ticket
* to reload your UI type /rl

i think i asked the wrong question or asked it wrong LOL, but i was wanted the frames and the orbs both to show and couldn't figure out how to do that

This options hides the player frame and "only shows the orbs" there is no option to hide the orbs (and only show the player frame), if that's what you are talking about.

In the change log under 1.6 among other things, this was listed :
"added an option to hide the default player frame and only show the orbs (enabled by default)"

Perhaps I'm just being a Huge nub, but i can't find where to disable the "show only orbs" option, because i think it looks sexy in the pictures with the default player frame :P

any help would be immensely appreciated

First off want to say this is the best Frames Iv seen in years.

I have 2 questions, How can I change the 3D Portrait to a 2D?

I changed my health bar colors back to their Class color, but when I select a player then select an NPC the color does not update, any idea how to make it update? Or make NPC's/hostiles their own color?

These are not big problems just little twinks

--Ok figured out the Reactions part on my own, now just wondering how to change the Portraits

I'll see if I can find the time to update it. I did not update it yet, since I feel like the whole UI needs a complete overhaul, imho. At least the unit frame code is a little shabby, considering that I wrote it based on what I knew of lua over a year ago. It would need some time to get the whole thing up to date and tested to be releasable.

There have been some requests, so ... Well, I'll see.

Any plans to get this updated for 3.3? The graphics for the bar holders don't seem to be displaying anymore, target portraits aren't using the correct graphics, and Dominos is telling me "Default" is an invalid profile.

Might be because stormstrike is filtered out. Try to replace the targets debuff filter - "HARMFUL|PLAYER" - with "self.Debuffs.onlyShowPlayer".


It should be something like:
self.Debuffs.filter = "HARMFUL|PLAYER"

changed to:
self.Debuffs.onlyShowPlayer = true

... or remove the whole filter thing, which can get quite spammy in large raids (since it will show ALL debuffs of everyone).

Question How to display debuff of target?

Hi, it's a wonderful UI. I love it.
Only problem is I can not see debuff of target. Since my class is shammy, and known of wether my stromstrike is on target is very important.
Could you tell me a way to display target's debuff?

Try disabling OmniCC and see if it still happens.
There is no bossmod included by default. I tried to keep the compilation as unspecific (regarding class and PvP/PvE) as possible.

Setup

Okay, I got it to work.. and it is F***ing beautiful. I do have a serious problem though. The setup, even with all settings set to minimum is an EXTREME resource hog, it literally crashed my WoW while in my raid today (this is a first, and it only happened today when I was using the Aion setup). Is there something i am missing to keep it from digging so hard? More specifically, are their any of add-ons in the list that are not essential to use in a raid? would really like to use it for all occasions, as like I said, it is absolutely amazing.

Also, does the Add-on come pre-quipped with someform of boss mod? I ask because I didn't find an obvious one, and as a raider they are kind of required.

for reference, my comp specs are

AMD Athlon 7750 D-core (2CPU) ~2.7GHZ, 4Gb Ram
Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT 512.0 MB (GDDR 3)

all drivers up-to-date

and using 1680 x 1050 (same as your default ui scale)

unit frames

you probable answered this already but how do i get the raid frames to stay were i put them, and is it posable to disable the unitframes if i want to use a diffrent unitframe mod with this ui?
