A druid using TidyBar
Tidy Bar   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
TidyBar was designed to be a small, light-weight, and compact replacement for the default Action Bar.

Features:
  • Central Button Layout: Lower right, lower left, Shape-shift, Pet, and Possess action-bars stack above the main bar.
  • Hidden Bags and Menus: The Main Menu and Bag micro-buttons hide in the lower right corner of your screen, and become visible on mouse-over.
  • Hidden Vertical Action-bars: The action-bars along the right side of the screen also remain invisible until mouseover.

I've tested it using 1680x1050 and 1024x768 monitors, and it looks good on both.

Thanks to both 'Shamahan' and 'Neal' for their wonderful addons, which certainly inspired this small project.

Note: A well-known issue occurs when trying to enable or disable an actionbar while in combat; The bars do not reposition themselves until combat has finished. This is unlikely to be resolved in the near future, as it's a limitation/feature of Blizzard's UI system; Only Blizzard code (or a player hardware event, such as a click-and-drag) may change the position and visibility of a secure frame, while in combat.

Release 3.5: Main menu (character/spell/etc) buttons will properly stay visible when
the vehicle interface is shown. Fixed some issues with protected function calls.
New corner menu artwork! Hope you like it; I think it makes it look a wee bit

Release 3.4: Still trying to make sure the bar behaves well during vehicle switching. Added scaling.

Release 3: The side actionbars will now show up (regardless of mouseover) when the user drags an
actionbutton. The mouseover for the bag and mainmenu bars are now linked.
Code cleaned up; Should please my fellow developers. Removed some Runebar
positioning code (which was in there by accident).

Release 2: Added mouseover behavior to the inner right-side action buttonbar. Added a
watcher frame under the Bags and Side Buttons to catch the mouseover when the
cursor is between the buttons. Previously, when you moved your cursor into
the narrow gap between the button sets, the buttons would disappear. Also,
removed dependency on Wowace! Slowly but surely, I'm cleaning it up.. ;-)

Not particularly.

It just becomes uneasy for the eyes with text size cuz I use the default UI.

I'd removed the feature, since it required editing the LUA file. But, you can have similar functionality by looking under the standard Video Settings dialog, and clicking on "Use UI Scale", and adjusting the slider. It scales all of the UI elements at the same time.

Out of curiosity is scaling no longer possible? I can't find the option to scale like I was able to a few updates back. :x

You'll want to move your chat window around, I imagine. If you right click on the General tab, you can Unlock the chat window and move it around.

Whew - finally got a chance to sit down for a bit. Haven't actually PLAYED WoW since 3.2 came out. *sigh*

Anyway, I've posted an update to the totem bar. I have not tested it extensively, so let me know if anything breaks..

So love the Addon.....one thing though....it covers up the new Shaman Totem bar....when i have the Bottom Right Bar active. Anyway of fixing it so that it jumps above it?
