TidyBar is a compact replacement for your action bars. It retains the design of the standard interface, which reducing the clutter on your screen.

Central Layout: The standard action buttons are centered on the bottom of the screen, with all your additional action buttons stacked above.

Vertical Action Bars: The action bars along the right side of your screen will remain hidden until you hover your mouse over the area.

Bags and Character Buttons: The bag and Character buttons are repositioned to the bottom right corner of your screen, and will remain hidden until you hover your mouse in that area.

Note: A well-known issue occurs when trying to enable or disable an actionbar while in combat; The bars do not reposition themselves until combat has finished. This is unlikely to ever be resolved, being a restriction in Blizzard's UI system; Only Blizzard code may change the position and visibility of a secure frame during combat.

Other Issues:
The stupid rested-state bar isn't positioning itself properly. I haven't had a chance to figure out a fix.

watcher frame under the Bags and Side Buttons to catch the mouseover when the
cursor is between the buttons. Previously, when you moved your cursor into
the narrow gap between the button sets, the buttons would disappear. Also,
removed dependency on Wowace! Slowly but surely, I'm cleaning it up.. ;-)

Hmm... it makes sense. Although, I'm not sure what event that could be associated with; There's no UNIT_VEHICLE_DESTROYED event. I'll have to test it this evening.

OK all this time and the bug I was describing earlier finally showed up again.

I'm really not sure the exact conditions to reproduce it. I was doing my argent dailies in that field of bones (or whatever the place is called where you joust the skellies). I think what triggered it was being on a vehicle while the vehicle gets destroyed. After that, I could not get my stance bar (it vanished), and the micromenu floated in its own space.

No luck reproducing any errors tonight. Which is good.

Maybe what happened last time was because I just downloaded the new version and did a /reload, some of the old version's code was still floating about. I'll continue to use it over the weekend and see how we do.

No worries man.. I know this is just something you guys do in your spare time, so I appreciate it. =)

I will try to give more detailed steps to recreate the problem. As for the questions you asked, I play 1680x1050, and since the patch I don't need to use Blizzard's UI scale feature anymore; the default size of everything is perfect.

I'm using very few mods at the moment: wChat, DBM, Decursive, Auctionator and Recount. One of the times that TidyBar's side bar stopped working, I got an error message re: Decursive. So it's possible these two are not getting along?

Actually as I typed this I just realized I am raiding tonight, so as far as giving detailed / reliable steps to reproduce the error I prolly have to wait until tomorrow night. =/

Effing mounted UI.....

Godddam Argent tournamathingy...

Edit: I really do test this before I release it. Honest! Granted, it's rather late at night when I get time to futz, but ... *sigh*

Edit 2: I just tested mounting, dismounting, changing specs, changing gear, flying, dying and rezing. I couldn't seem to get oddities. Give me some mo' info, if you could. Screen rez, UI scale, other running addons... I can't fix it if I can't see what's broken..

New but similar bugs were created.

If I get on my mount for Argent tourney and mount/dismount enough (possibly in combination with a dual spec talent change), the side bar ceases to work. The micromenu will appear in a random location, someplace in between where it should be and where it is under vehicle mode. And, my stance bar (druid) disappears permanently.

Seems like it's possible if Dominos and Bartender are doing it. I'm not sure how it would be done, off the top of my head.

It's that translucent blue bar that indicates how much rested XP you have, in addition to your regular XP.

is it possible to hide the standart vehicle UI ? to convert it to became the number 1 bar

basically like dominos and bartender does

or do a VehicleMenuBar:SetScale(TidyBarScale-0.1)


the -0.1 to scales to match, vehicle is a little bigger

A fix for the new bug is posted.

And, it's rather important, since (and I must have been smokin' crack when I was working on the code at the time) I'd accidentally created a situation where Tidy Bar was creating MANY hooks. I ended up reproducing the error by going up to Argent Tourney, and running back into ToC after killing myself in it. I actually got some stack overflows.
