TidyBar is a compact replacement for your action bars. It retains the design of the standard interface, which reducing the clutter on your screen.

Central Layout: The standard action buttons are centered on the bottom of the screen, with all your additional action buttons stacked above.

Vertical Action Bars: The action bars along the right side of your screen will remain hidden until you hover your mouse over the area.

Bags and Character Buttons: The bag and Character buttons are repositioned to the bottom right corner of your screen, and will remain hidden until you hover your mouse in that area.

Note: A well-known issue occurs when trying to enable or disable an actionbar while in combat; The bars do not reposition themselves until combat has finished. This is unlikely to ever be resolved, being a restriction in Blizzard's UI system; Only Blizzard code may change the position and visibility of a secure frame during combat.

Other Issues:
The stupid rested-state bar isn't positioning itself properly. I haven't had a chance to figure out a fix.

Release 2: Added mouseover behavior to the inner right-side action buttonbar. Added a
watcher frame under the Bags and Side Buttons to catch the mouseover when the
cursor is between the buttons. Previously, when you moved your cursor into
the narrow gap between the button sets, the buttons would disappear. Also,
removed dependency on Wowace! Slowly but surely, I'm cleaning it up.. ;-)

There are 12 buttons on the micromenu.
Using a good text editor like Notepad++ (free) change Tidybar.lua line 47 to:

CornerMenuFrame:SetWidth(300)
Change Line 55 to:
Code:
CornerMenuFrame.Texture:SetWidth(300*1.09)
This makes the container frame and texture wider.

Then change line 165 to:

CharacterMicroButton:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT", CornerMenuFrame.MicroButtons, "BOTTOMRIGHT", -270, 0);
This changes the offset of the actual buttons anchor, moving them to the left, back onscreen.

Last change line 355 to:
Code:
CornerMouseoverFrame:SetWidth(300)
This ensures the frame becomes visible when your mouse reaches the (newly resized) frame edge.

You may need to play with these numbers slightly, however they look good to me at a variety of scale settings and UI scales.

@Nallepuh: There is a setting at line 8 of the tidybar.lua to modify the overall scale of the addon:

Simply change that to whatever you like.

@Paradox68: The relevant code for the shapeshiftbar position is found at line 110:

		ShapeshiftButton1:ClearAllPoints();
		ShapeshiftButton1:SetPoint("BOTTOMLEFT", anchor, "TOPLEFT", 0, anchorOffset);
where "0, anchorOffset" are the X and Y settings. The anchorOffset is the distance the shapeshiftbar sits up from the action bar below it.
Changing the "O, anchorOffset" to numbers and reloading your UI should move the stance bar around. Experiment with it to find your desired location.

Problems with Tidy Bar petbar position.

Hi, i have a problem.
I have a Problem with my petbar positions, my dk petbar has different position then warlock and mages one, i cant understand that, isnt the petbar code for every class?

Hey there,

I've got a question that may be not that easy to realize: I want the whole action bars including the bags, social buttons, guild buttons, etc just the way they are normally without using any addon BUT they should be as huge as if I would use the ui scale function to the minimum.

Is that possible to realize with Tidy Bar?

It sounds like the answer is No. Tidy Bar doesn't have a configuration utility. Feel free to play with the code, though!

Dantilger,

Thank you for this awesome addon. I don't need any other bar mod. This one is perfect, except for one thing. I would like to move the bottomright corner bar to the top (center). I have tried changing the LUA code so that the bar appears at top. However, both the micromenu and the background texture appear about 2 centimeter under the top and about 0.5 centimeter to the right.

How can I fix this? Could you possibly add some code so that we can decide by ourselves where to anchor the cornerbarframe?
