*) How to use the "Switch" button/keybinding:
e.g. maybe in order to have more FPS while raiding you want to reduce some graphics settings.
So you hit the button once. Now your current settings are saved and you have switched to a second setting.
Please note: The screen may flicker during this GX Restart.
Now you could reduce screen resolution, visibly range, effects or go to fullscreen mode etc. pp. and have more FPS.
When your raid is over you would like to switch back to your previous high quality settings.
Simply hit the switch button again and all your previous settings are restored.
You may bind a key for this too.
That's it.

Am I wrong in that you don't actually need to run this mod after you've changed settings the way you want? Seems like it makes edits to config.wtf and those will remain even if you don't want to load this mod all the time when you play? Plz confirm
I love your 'Switch' function, but could you please make it a bit more clearer? Was thinking along the lines of implementing a 'Save these settings as low' / 'Save these settings as normal' and a 'Load saved settings' / 'Load normal settings' button.
Think it should not be too hard to implement that and it will really help, because I just want to have same settings, but low settings in 25raids, and now I have to save/load all the time while I only want to save once, then load it every time I get in a raid.
I just have to say that this addon is awsome, but i have only seen screens becouse when I'm trying to config it, it only shows errors, the only things I can config is a few things in two of the pages. When I try to change page it only shows errors and nothing else.
I took some screens of it to show, i am running the 3.0.9 patch if that makes some difference.
I just wanted to leave a note real quick that after changing the Video Cache setting to a higher value, WoW crashed occationally, saying M2.something requested soandsomany bytes - out of memory. I think it happens when WoW wants to adress more than 1.6 or 2 GB of memory.
I've never had those crashes before increasing the cache size and after disabling the cache I've never seen the crash again.
I'm using 4 GB Ram, a GTX 260 with 892 MB under W7 x64. Drivers are up to date.
Originally posted by GravityDK The options relating to CPU affinity and so on interest me; I have an Intel i7 920. I think that's a quad-core (each with 2 threads?), it has hyperthreading: which affinity and related settings is optimal?
If you can't set via this addon (I have yet to test it, but will be doing so tonight) you can manually edit your config.wtf file found the WTF directory under you WoW install and add the following line:
set processoraffinitymask "255"
This tells WoW to use 8 threads (4 cores each with HT, assuming you have HT turned on). Using it on an i7 920 I went from 12-18 FPS in Dal to 25-40 with all settings maxed.
The spell detail thing is insane When a DK uses his red floor thing I lag very badly :P but I think that's the only spell that makes me lag anyways, I reduced it xD
