FaceShooter is a shot recommendation addon for hunters.

Based on your resources like cooldowns and focus it tries to recommend which spell should be cast next.
It is a complete strip back to basics of the former version of FaceShooter created and maintained by CrowFeather, with the new and changed features developed from there.

FaceShooter will correctly disable itself if not a Hunter or lower than level 90
Kill Shot now improved. You must however have one of the following on your Action Bars:
- The Kill Shot spell, ie dragged from the spell book to your Action Bars
- A Kill Shot macro with the exact Kill Shot icon
If neither of these are on your Action Bars, Kill Shot is disabled and not recommended by FaceShooter

Fix for Kill Shot on BM spec (Incorrectly applied MM Draenor perk)

Re: not enough focus

I haven't had a problem with SV spec -- at least I don't think. Although I did notice on a couple of occasions it was suggesting CS when I was nearly 100 focus.

Any pending updates for this add-on? Especially considering the changes to MM -- would love to see support for this.

This is a GREAT add-on. I enjoy using this much more than watching the timer bars of the other hunter mods.

not enough focus

Help, does anybody else have problems atm with FS predicting shots even though not enough focus available. Since the patch it seems completly off.
Even after they fixed the haste issue I still have the same problem.

Sorry for the absence. I've been rather busy leveling and gearing up my toons and raiding new bosses with my hunter so I didn't spend much time working on FS. I don't know exactly when I'll get back at them but I promise all of your comments are taken notice of and will be addressed when my char progress slows down again somewhat. I still have plans for FS.

The time to life frame simply shows you an rough estimate of how long it'll take before your current target dies (in seconds) and the amount of raid damage on it. Unlike most more sophisticated damage meters it doesn't parse the combatlog to calculate the precise dps done to that target though but simply watches it's hp loss over time and derives its TTL from that. It's pretty jumpy with most trash mobs dying in a matter of a few seconds (most dps classes have some ramp up time) but should work pretty well with bosses (barring forced dps breaks, temporary damage buffs etc ofc)

You're right, currently FS only shows the GCD not the actual cast time of CoS or SS. With the new spellqueue it's pretty difficult to determine exactly when the server thinks your cast actually started plus I found that I could almost always queue in my next spell after the GCD is up anyway. I'm going to have to change this behavior at least for animated recommendation frames though.
Regarding LnL procs - yes ofc it still shows your GCD, why shouldn't it? It should never recommend 2 ES in a row to prevent overwriting the ES DoT which I know behaves buggy sometimes (LnL is a bitch ) but that shouldn't impact on your GCD.

I was wondering what the TTL bar is for? I think I read that it stands for "Time to Life"? What does that mean? What do I use it for in-game? =)

Even the second frame seems to be wrong far more often than I'd like either because of bugs, latency issues or unforseeable events (eg thrill of the hunt).
Thanks, for offering to add it back in. Even with the prediction not being as good as you'd like I find it useful aand it will be nice to have that option back.

I didn't say in my last post but I really appreciate the work you put in to faceshooter and it's one of the add-ons I find most useful as a hunter.

When I get home today, I will attempt to reinstall 1.0.1 and see what happens.
Had same error - reenabling the TTL timer fixed it for me.

First of all... Thanks so much for all your hard work on this... Without it I would be lost...

But I do have a question... And I'm not sure of the details but I think I've got them right... It's about the cooldown indicated by FS. Am I right that only the GCD is indicated? (I'm at work and going from memory)

If that is true, would there be a way for the buttons to indicate when to actually fire the suggested shot? I think I remember Face Roller showing an icon while Explosive Shot ticked... So that you wouldn't shoot another and clip the first one.

It also seems that when Lock and Load procs, the FS button still indicates the GCD? (Not sure of this)

Right now I look at FS to see the next suggested shot but also I watch Quartz to see when to shoot it...

Being the lazy hunter I am, I'd prefer to only have to watch the FS button.

Just something I wanted to ask...
