FaceShooter is a shot recommendation addon for hunters.

Based on your resources like cooldowns and focus it tries to recommend which spell should be to cast next.
It is a complete rewrite of my former version of FaceShooter (which is broken as of 4.0.1). It doesn't include all of the original addons features yet but I'm planning on including them later on.

NEWS:
I've updated FaceShooter for 5.0.4 since it seemed like there weren't that many changes to our rotation. That being said, I'll propably not maintain this Addon much longer. So if someone else feels like taking over, please let me know. Otherwise you might try Spellflash in addition to one of the hunter modules or some other alternative Addon instead.

Still loving this addon! Recently been going sv on some fights and I think survival may need a little tweaking. May be just me, but rotation or something with the focus is off. Seems to suggest arcane shot still at times when explosive shot is off cd and ready to go.

Aimed Shot Options

Well, I had some time last night to play with a target dummy and here is what I did:

I removed all "on use" trinkets, didn't use RF or Berserking and dismissed my pet to remove as much random stuff as I could. In MM spec I hit a target dummy with HM and then followed the rotation recommendations from FS as closely as possible. One quest that I can't find the answer to is: Since target dummies health is always above 90% are they always considered to be in CA phase?

My character stats show a static haste of a little over 17% and with ISS it is about 38%. I tried to continue each rotation for at least a minute to reach a "steady state" for dps. Ramp us is slow without using a haste buff I set the "break point" at 1.8 seconds which is the break recommended by Elitist Jerks.

I found that my DPS ranged from 13K to 19K as I varied the parameters in the Aimed shot tab.

The best DPS I generated was with CS > AI above and below break for CA and CS >AI above and AI >CS - Refresh SS below break without CA.

This seems contrary to my best understanding of what EJ recommends which would be : CA phase - AI > CS Ignore SS above break; CS>AI below break -- Non CA Phase - AI > CS _Refresh SS above break and CS> AI below break.

I would appreciate any suggestions or results that others might like to share.

If you're doing a fresh install (meaning no savedvariables from prior versions) you don't have to change anything. You still could change the settings to your preference of course in the Aimed Shot Options.

hmm, I'm playing SV right now too. I didn't realize any big errors but that might be because I'm using the 2T13 set bonus. There may be a new bug when you don't have that one. Could you give me some more specifics about your gear, spec and when it happens?

Might be something with the way the Ace3 Framework interacts with OpenRDX. I'm not sure if I can do anything about it but I'll look into it.

Haven't seen it in the options, but is there a way you can update (or tell me how) to import the 4 piece t-13 set bonus into a hardcast aimed rotation? with an ICD tracker on the mini lust effect

Sorry, I don't understand your question. What option do you suggest?
The 4T13 bonus only grants you a generic haste buff which doesn't has to be tracked specifically. FS automatically detects changes in haste and should adjust accordingly. You can use the Aimed Shot options to set a threshold for hardcasting.

what i meant was the in the aimed shot hardcast rotation you dont use arcane shot ever, is there a way to make it show an arcane shot in the rotation if the ICD is up... or is it just up to us to spam arcane outside the rotation to get the buff up

Ahh, now I understand. I don't even know the ICD (or if there is one). Is there reliable data on this? It should be possible to priorize AS differently with the ICD up.

messing around with the 4p and the ICD seems to be 110 seconds... maybe set up an option for when that ICD is available you swap arcane with aimed until it procs?

Hi mate, got a serious problem here.

Something started to cause my WoW to load for over 1 minute from launch, instead of 15 sec as before. One day it started to bother me, so I started the search fun, disabling/enabling everything. Faceshooter was the last to check. What a surprise that was...
I don't know what the changed you made few updates ago, but something there causes that huge loading delay for me.

Any Ideas?

Hi guys been having a few issues with installing faceshooter
have used it before and with no problems..

tried to reinstall but get the errors,

ArcS - silly question?

Hi,

(I apologise in advance if this is, to you, a dumb question)

I'm only seeing AimS coming up on every fight and almost never ArcS on the shot suggestions - am I doing something daft and missing something I should be doing? I have the feeling its something obvious and I'm just not seeing it!
