Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 7.0.3
by: Neal, ballagarba

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Tanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something!

How can I move the player, target and focus frame?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button to move them. This only works outside of combat!

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavreset to reset the position of the player, target and/or focus frame.
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/wm, /worldmarkers, /rm or /raidmarkers to show world raid markers.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.

The latest updates and changes can be found on Github.

v7.0.3

- nPlates and nPower are back thanks to thomasjohnshannon.
- Added option to oUF_Neav to show target debuffs above the player frame.
- Added option to oUF_Neav to only show player buffs/debuffs on target.
- Added a slash command (`/neavbag`) to nMainbar to toggle the new bag bar.
- Made the arena and boss frame moveable by pressing shift-alt and dragging (outside of combat).
- The alert frame (where garrison missions etc. show up) has been moved to the top instead of the bottom.
- Party, arena and boss frames now movable while pressing alt-shift and dragging (outside of combat).

v7.0.0

Huge props to thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain who basically made all the work!

- nPower has been removed in favour for the new nameplate and resource options in Legion.
- nPlates has been removed. Too much work was required to make it compatible with Legion, and it didn't offer much functionality over the default nameplates. Might, or might not make a comeback in the future.
- nMainbar added a bar to toggle the bags.
- Item level has been removed nTooltip.
- The "disable fade" option has been removed from nTooltip.
- The custom drop down to move player/target/focus frame has been removed and replaced with the same mechanism used for the pet-/stancebar; i.e. press alt-shift and drag with your mouse. A new slash command has also been added to reset the frames (/neavreset).
- Misc bugs and fixes to make it compatible with Legion.

@jessica: Coming in the next release

@beargrills: Don't worry about it, mate I'll look into, it's most likely related to patch 5.4 and some stuff in oUF. No promises though

@laukond: I'll see what I can do.

@nipsyi: Can someone translate this, Google Translate didn't make any sense

raid right click menu

Hello,

I hate to bother you, as I know you've posted you would not help with questions. With this last update, the right click menu for the raid members has changed. In party it still has whisper>inspect>trade>follow>etc. However, in a raid those menu options are not available. If I revert to the previous version they come back, and I'm trying to figure it out for myself as to what has changed. I have not yet found it, and I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. I've looked in OUF folder and it has the menu.lua. Also, the menu.lua from 5.3.0 looks identical to the menu.lua from 5.4.0.

Thank you for your time!

How do I put the chat type box back to the normal position underneath the chat? I looked everywhere in the config and nothing.

I hate it when its at the top of chat.

Thanks for the updates, I'd like to express one more thing about the nTooltip, as much as I love it, I think this feature will benefits many of us. beside most tooltip addons out there behave the I'm about to mention.

if the tooltip is set on mousehover, then the action would be something like this, if you hover on a player in the world, or mob, it would show the tooltip in the mousehover, but if you hover on a frame, like the partyframe or playerfrme or targetframe it show the tooltip to the bottom_right of screen. this is how I feel it should be. the mousehover option is nice only for world players.

I'm not sure I follow, just press b or shift-b, or whatever you have your bags keybinded to.
I mean when I want to switch one bag for another bag. Like if I buy a new bigger bag and want to use it. Or switch a bank bag with a regular one.
Ah, yes, I guess that's a bit of a problem. However I've always been using some bag addon (because I think the default bags suck!), and was under the impression pretty much everyone did.

Not sure where I would put a bag-switcher either :/

Hi ballagarba, I'll show you some screenshots here about what I was talkin about, with additional few info if you like to get updated

Here's the party indicator that is above the player frame, it simply tells you that you are in a party group outside of the current party/raid group, which happens if you are inside a BG or inside a LFR or inside of crossrealm thingy, but it tells you that back in your original realm you are in a party.

Here's the mushrooms that are underneath the player frame & The warrior frame.

Few things also, there's a blizzard indicator thingy that will be shown to the right of the party frame which tells you if a person is in a different quest-zone. You know sometimes you go with a friend to a zone and you can't see that friend because he's in a different stage of quests, A black indicator from blizzard near that friend partyframe that if you hover over it, it tells you "That player is at a different quest-zone" something of the sort, but sadly I couldn't find a friend thats in a different quest-zone to take a screenshot.

there a way to set the chat frame size and position in lua file? in screenshots the chat frame sort of mirrors the position of the tooltip.
