Neav UI  Updated less than 3 days ago!  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 7.0.3
by: Neal, ballagarba

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Tanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something!

How can I move the player, target and focus frame?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button to move them. This only works outside of combat!

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavreset to reset the position of the player, target and/or focus frame.
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/wm, /worldmarkers, /rm or /raidmarkers to show world raid markers.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.

The latest updates and changes can be found on Github.

v7.0.3

- nPlates and nPower are back thanks to thomasjohnshannon.
- Added option to oUF_Neav to show target debuffs above the player frame.
- Added option to oUF_Neav to only show player buffs/debuffs on target.
- Added a slash command (`/neavbag`) to nMainbar to toggle the new bag bar.
- Made the arena and boss frame moveable by pressing shift-alt and dragging (outside of combat).
- The alert frame (where garrison missions etc. show up) has been moved to the top instead of the bottom.
- Party, arena and boss frames now movable while pressing alt-shift and dragging (outside of combat).

v7.0.0

Huge props to thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain who basically made all the work!

- nPower has been removed in favour for the new nameplate and resource options in Legion.
- nPlates has been removed. Too much work was required to make it compatible with Legion, and it didn't offer much functionality over the default nameplates. Might, or might not make a comeback in the future.
- nMainbar added a bar to toggle the bags.
- Item level has been removed nTooltip.
- The "disable fade" option has been removed from nTooltip.
- The custom drop down to move player/target/focus frame has been removed and replaced with the same mechanism used for the pet-/stancebar; i.e. press alt-shift and drag with your mouse. A new slash command has also been added to reset the frames (/neavreset).
- Misc bugs and fixes to make it compatible with Legion.

Hmm for some reason after installing the new version, I don't have party frames anymore. I checked WoW settings, checked the Ouf_Neavconfig and Party = True. I tried changing the position of the party frames to Center 0, 0 and they didn't show up. Anyone have any ideas?

(Also Neav, not sure if you meant to but the new version doesn't include Ouf v1.4. Had to download seperately.)

To add a Target: to your tool tip right above the health bar enter the following code at line 205
Code:
		if UnitExists(unit.."target") and unit~="player" then
			local r, g, b = 0, 1, 0 -- green color for friends
			local text = ""

			if(UnitIsEnemy("player", unit.."target")) then
				r, g, b = 1, 0, 0 -- red color for enemies
			elseif(not UnitIsFriend("player", unit.."target")) then
				r, g, b = 1, 1, 0 -- yellow for neutral
			end

			if(UnitName(unit.."target")==UnitName("player")) then
				text = "|cffFF8040Target:|r ".." > YOU < " -- text if target is player
			else
				text = "|cffFF8040Target:|r "..UnitName(unit.."target")
			end

			self:AddLine(text, r, g, b)
		end
This is the Enemy :

Thank you to Aschker for the assistance in getting this set up.

Here's what my whole nChat looks like just to save me time since I have to move today. For the most part, this is Neav's code, precisely as he has coded it, with only the fixes to make it work for 3.3.5, and the aesthetic changes I've shown.

Chat fixes seem to work.. thx for that The alpha on the edit box is shitty tho Waiting on neal is only thing we can do :P

And for the people like me who do want to see the social button:

FriendsMicroButton:SetAlpha(1)
FriendsMicroButton:EnableMouse(true)
FriendsMicroButton:ClearAllPoints()
FriendsMicroButton:SetPoint('CENTER', UIParent, -390, -150)

And just fill in your own position, or if you want the default position, just delete the bottom 2 lines and change the alpha to 1 ofc..

I decided to fix nChat to the best of my ability in addition to implementing the fixes already posted here and on various WoW forums. The edit box only works on chatframe1.

Find: ChatFrameEditBox
Replace with: ChatFrame1EditBox

line 73, replace:
Code:
for i = 6, 8 do
with:
Code:
for i = 6, 11 do
line 94, replace:
Code:
for i = 1, 7 do
with:
Code:
for i = 1, NUM_CHAT_WINDOWS do
line 1, add:
Code:
DEFAULT_CHATFRAME_ALPHA = 0
CHAT_FRAME_FADE_OUT_TIME = 0
CHAT_TAB_HIDE_DELAY = 0
CHAT_FRAME_TAB_NORMAL_MOUSEOVER_ALPHA = 1
CHAT_FRAME_TAB_NORMAL_NOMOUSE_ALPHA = 0
CHAT_FRAME_TAB_SELECTED_MOUSEOVER_ALPHA = 1
CHAT_FRAME_TAB_SELECTED_NOMOUSE_ALPHA = 0
line 32, add:
Code:
_G.CHAT_PARTY_LEADER_GET = '[|Hchannel:party|hPL|h] %s:\32'
_G.CHAT_PARTY_GUIDE_GET = '[|Hchannel:PARTY|hPL|h] %s:\32'
line 104, add: (press enter twice to remove alpha edit box after loading)
Code:
    local eb = _G['ChatFrame'..i..'EditBox']
    eb:Hide()
    eb:HookScript('OnEnterPressed', function(s) s:Hide() end)
line 130-140, replace with:
Code:
    local bf = _G['ChatFrame'..i..'ButtonFrame']
    bf:Hide()
    bf.show = dummy

    local buttonUp = _G['ChatFrame'..i..'ButtonFrameUpButton']
    buttonUp:SetAlpha(0)
    buttonUp:EnableMouse(false)

    local buttonDown = _G['ChatFrame'..i..'ButtonFrameDownButton']
    buttonDown:SetAlpha(0)
    buttonDown:EnableMouse(false)

    local buttonBottom = _G['ChatFrame'..i..'ButtonFrameBottomButton']
    buttonBottom:SetAlpha(0)
    buttonBottom:EnableMouse(false)

    local tab = _G["ChatFrame"..i.."Tab"]
    tab.noMouseAlpha = 0
    tab:SetAlpha(0)

    tab.leftSelectedTexture:SetAlpha(0)

    tab.middleHighlightTexture:SetTexture(nil)
line 167, add:
Code:
FriendsMicroButton:SetAlpha(0)
FriendsMicroButton:EnableMouse(false)

Code:
_G.CHAT_BN_WHISPER_GET = '[bw from] %s:\32'
_G.CHAT_BN_WHISPER_INFORM_GET = '[bw to] %s:\32'

Can someone help me to get a perfect neal border on filger?

Code:
			if ( self.Mode == "ICON" ) then
				bar.icon = bar:CreateTexture("$parentIcon", "OVERLAY");
				bar.icon:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", 0.03, 0.97)
				bar.icon:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT", 0.03, 0.97)
				--bar.icon:SetTexCoord(0.03, 0.97, 0.03, 0.97)

				bar.count = bar:CreateFontString(nil, "OVERLAY");
				bar.count:SetFont(font, fontsize, "THINOUTLINE");
				bar.count:SetPoint("TOPRIGHT", 1, -1);
				bar.count:SetJustifyH("RIGHT");

                bar.overlay = bar:CreateTexture(nil, "OVERLAY");
				bar.overlay:SetTexture("Interface\\AddOns\\rufioMedia\\borderTexture");
				bar.overlay:SetVertexColor(0.4, 0.4, 0.4);
                bar.overlay:SetTexCoord(0, 1, 0, 1);
                bar.overlay:ClearAllPoints();
                bar.overlay:SetPoint('TOPRIGHT', bar, 1.35, 1.35);
                bar.overlay:SetPoint('BOTTOMLEFT', bar, -1.35, -1.35);

				bar.cooldown = CreateFrame("Cooldown", nil, bar, "CooldownFrameTemplate");
				bar.cooldown:SetReverse();
                bar.cooldown:ClearAllPoints();
                bar.cooldown:SetPoint('TOPRIGHT', bar.icon, 'TOPRIGHT', -1, -1);
                bar.cooldown:SetPoint('BOTTOMLEFT', bar.icon, 'BOTTOMLEFT', 1, 1);
			else
Thats the code for now, but it doesn't look perfect

local TargetLine = true -- Should target information be added to tooltip?
local TargetText = "T: " -- Text in target line which will be added before name.
local YouText = "> YOU <" -- Text in target line when target is player

(have that as line 8 9 and 10)

if(TargetLine==true and UnitExists(unit.."target") and unit~="player") then
local r, g, b = 0, 1, 0 -- green color for friends
local text = ""

if(UnitIsEnemy("player", unit.."target")) then
r, g, b = 1, 0, 0 -- red color for enemies
elseif(not UnitIsFriend("player", unit.."target")) then
r, g, b = 1, 1, 0 -- yellow for neutral
end

if(UnitName(unit.."target")==UnitName("player")) then
text = TargetText..YouText -- text if target is player
else
text = TargetText..UnitName(unit.."target")
end

self:AddLine(text, r, g, b)
end

(add this to line 159 and down.. Worked for me)
