Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 9.0.4
by: Neal, ballagarba, thomasjohnshannon

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.

How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.

So I've tried a clean install with the files from Github, but I'm still having the problem.

I've tried all files now, .tar.gz , .zip , the one from WoWI.

And I have downloaded the latest version of nMainbar from WoWI here as you told me to.

I'll try to update you once I know if this only happens when entering a random dungeon or not.

Edit:

Alright, so yes, this issue occurs upon entering a dungeon (so far I've only tried through the LFG system tho)

It's only the experience bar, reputation bar stays small.

After leaving the dungeon the experience bar also returns to it's original length, so happens on both entering and leaving.

I had to copy/paste everything as I had deleted it to get rid of the castbar, as I said in a previous post.

But well, I fixed it now, I forgot to add a "}," at the end, because of which it didn't close.

Thanks again for the quick replies.

Not sure what I did wrong, as I've copy/pasted your code.

And no, I'm not playing a destro lock, I'm leveling a frost mage currently. But I take having to watch waterbolt spam is just as annoying as firebolt spam

Edit: I just found out that the castbar is back to the default one :S

Thanks for the reply.

About the mainbar, I downloaded the package from github as it told me to here on WoWI, perhaps that one aint fully updated then? Anyhow, I've downloaded the one on WoWI here then, and this solved the problem, thanks.

Are you sure you're using the latest nMainbar? I haven't had a problem with the experience bar for months.

No, not at the moment. Easy enough to implement though.

Meanwhile you can do this, open up oUF_NeavRaid.lua and go the end of the file (around line 725) change from:
Code:
table.insert(raid, self:SpawnHeader('oUF_Neav_Raid'..i, nil, 'solo,party,raid',
To
Code:
table.insert(raid, self:SpawnHeader('oUF_Neav_Raid'..i, nil, 'solo,raid',

Thanks!
Open up nChat.lua and go to line 238 or thereabouts and do this (you can use 'OUTLINE' instead of 'THINOUTLINE' if you want an even thicker outline):

Code:
local function ModChat(self)
    local chat = _G[self]
    --chat:SetShadowOffset(1, -1)
    local font, fontSize = chat:GetFont()
    chat:SetFont(font, fontSize, 'THINOUTLINE')
    chat:SetClampedToScreen(false)
    ...
Haven't tested the code (yet), but I'm pretty confident it'll work, good luck
