Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0.0
by: Neal, ballagarba

Neav UI
This UI complication will work on all resolution.
But be warned.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable through Lua, so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

* some changes by me

Tanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something!

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
It's very simple!
ShiftKey + AltKey + Leftclick on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/wm, /worldmarkers, /rm or /raidmarkers to show world raid markers.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.

Great extensions
For a improved totem frame check out ImprovedTotemFrame
If you want a small, not overload threat addon. Check out zorks rThreat
Some other decent and good ui improvements are tekability, oGlow and Combuctor

Hmm, gonna have a look at the inspect stuff.

Yeah I enabled the party frames, you can just turn them off again in oUF_Neav\config.lua:

Code:
['party'] = {
	scale = 1.11,
	show = false,
	hideInRaid = true,

	mouseoverText = true,
	healthTag = '$cur/$max',
	healthTagFull = '$cur',
	powerTag = '$cur/$max',
	powerTagFull = '$cur',
	powerTagNoMana = '$cur',

	position = {'TOPLEFT', UIParent, 25, -200},
},

As far as I know you should still be able to use the offset. Have you tried?
http://www.wowwiki.com/API_GameTooltip_SetOwner

... You can also move the tooltip by x or y, where positive x is to the right and positive y is up. Thus, negative x is to the left and negative y is down. Doesn't work if anchor is ANCHOR_CURSOR ...

tried.. nothing happens

doh... reading here whole discussion... it seems to be everything but easy... nvm

thank you
nChat is pretty much just a slimmed down and slightly skinned version of the default chat frame. So do as you would on the default chat, just right-click on the chat tab, press settings and tick "Show Class Color" for every channel.

Yeah, it's been fixed in the latest dev build in this commit. I will soon upload a new version here with some fixes and new features (like showing current spec on tooltip).

Reapir using Guild funds if possible

This is what i've added to autorepairsell.lua to use guild funds for repair if possible.

Lua Code:
  1. if possible then
  2.     if CanGuildBankRepair() then
  3.         RepairAllItems(1)
  4.         funds = "using GuildBank funds"
  5.     else
  6.         RepairAllItems()
  7.         funds = "using personal funds"
  8.     end
  9.     local c = cost%100
  10.     local s = math.floor((cost%10000)/100)
  11.     local g = math.floor(cost/10000)
  12.     DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Your items have been repaired for".." |cffffffff"..g.."|cffffd700g|r".." |cffffffff"..s.."|cffc7c7cfs|r".." |cffffffff"..c.."|cffeda55fc|r "..funds..".",255,255,0)
  13. else
  14.     DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("You don't have enough money for repair!",255,0,0)
  15. end

Just change the y offset in nBuff\core.lua on line 180 and 222:

Code:
local duration = _G['TempEnchant'..i..'Duration']
duration:ClearAllPoints()
duration:SetPoint('BOTTOM', button, 'BOTTOM', 0, -2)
duration:SetFont(cfg.durationFont, cfg.buffFontSize, 'THINOUTLINE')
duration:SetShadowOffset(0, 0)
duration:SetDrawLayer('OVERLAY')

The skinning of Recount happens in nCore (nCore\modules\skins.lua). Remove or comment out this part to prevent it from skinning Recount:

lua Code:
  1. if (IsAddOnLoaded('Recount')) then
  2.     if (not Recount.MainWindow.beautyBorder) then
  3.         Recount.MainWindow:CreateBeautyBorder(12)
  4.         Recount.MainWindow:SetBeautyBorderPadding(2, -10, 2, -10, 2, 2, 2, 2)
  5.         Recount.MainWindow:SetBackdrop({
  6.             bgFile = 'Interface\\Buttons\\WHITE8x8',
  7.             insets = { left = 0, right = 0, top = 10, bottom = 0 },
  8.         })
  9.         Recount.MainWindow:SetBackdropColor(0, 0, 0, 0.5)
  10.     end
  11. end
Thanks a lot for the quick response, next thing will be slightly modifying the nBuffs addon to have the timer sit outside of the button. Love your work guys, thanks again!

You're using oUF_NeavRaid, right?
Hm. I thought i did, but i didn't. I used another ouf layout. Is that whats causing the trouble?
Maybe. But I'm suspecting the way oUF_NeavRaid disables the default raid frames causes taint. But since you're not using them...

However !Colorz is messing around with globals as well, so that might be it as well.
