Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 7.1.2
by: Neal, ballagarba

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Tanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something!

How can I move the player, target and focus frame?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button to move them. This only works outside of combat!

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavreset to reset the position of the player, target and/or focus frame.
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/wm, /worldmarkers, /rm or /raidmarkers to show world raid markers.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.

The latest updates and changes can be found on Github.

v7.1.2

- oUF_Neav: Fix issue with the alternate resource bar for druids always showing.

v7.1.1

- nCore: Fix coordinates errors while opening the map in an instance or raid.

v7.1.0

- Add option to show class coloured health bar on player frame.
- The "alert frame mover" has been removed from nCore. Use ls: Toasts instead if you want to customize this.
- Use the same texture and colors for heal prediction and absorbs as the default frames.
- Misc smaller bug fixes.
- Patch 7.1 fixes.

v7.0.3

- nPlates and nPower are back thanks to thomasjohnshannon.
- Added option to oUF_Neav to show target debuffs above the player frame.
- Added option to oUF_Neav to only show player buffs/debuffs on target.
- Added a slash command (`/neavbag`) to nMainbar to toggle the new bag bar.
- Made the arena and boss frame moveable by pressing shift-alt and dragging (outside of combat).
- The alert frame (where garrison missions etc. show up) has been moved to the top instead of the bottom.
- Party, arena and boss frames now movable while pressing alt-shift and dragging (outside of combat).

v7.0.0

Huge props to thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain who basically made all the work!

- nPower has been removed in favour for the new nameplate and resource options in Legion.
- nPlates has been removed. Too much work was required to make it compatible with Legion, and it didn't offer much functionality over the default nameplates. Might, or might not make a comeback in the future.
- nMainbar added a bar to toggle the bags.
- Item level has been removed nTooltip.
- The "disable fade" option has been removed from nTooltip.
- The custom drop down to move player/target/focus frame has been removed and replaced with the same mechanism used for the pet-/stancebar; i.e. press alt-shift and drag with your mouse. A new slash command has also been added to reset the frames (/neavreset).
- Misc bugs and fixes to make it compatible with Legion.

@geson: What I do is that I have a config_custom.lua file for every addon that I've changed some setting. And just add that file to the .toc file, just after the original config.lua.

A simple example for nMinimap:

nMinimap.toc
Code:
## Interface: 40200
## Title: |cffCC3333 n|rMinimap
## RequiredDeps: !Beautycase

config.lua
config_custom.lua

core.lua
capture.lua
calendar.lua
clock.lua
difficulty.lua
extras.lua
config_custom.lua:
Code:
local _, nMinimap = ...
nMinimap.Config.alwaysShowDrawer = true
That way I only need to add my file to the .toc file again if something gets updated, and the .toc file gets changed way less than the config.lua file.

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to keep my personal config after updating the addons. Or must i configure all the .lua files again?

Thanks for an awesome addon.

The new borders are sweet.

Grrrrrrrrrrr lol just kidding just copied the original to a media file all good.

Keep up the great improvements.

hi, I love this addon, but also i'm used to an addon called "PortraitTimers" If you don't know it, it puts some of the useful spell durations on the target/focus frame such as if I cyclone/root them, the timer, also puts sheildwall, reflect, etc. its for pvp porpuses, and i'm used to it, but when I install it with Neav it doesn't work, how to make it work with Neav, I hope i can do this.

sorry for my poor english, I hope you understand :>

I just updated to the latest version on Github last night. nPlates no longer highlights the unit you have targetted. Is that intentional or am I missing a setting?

err, rightclick can't cancel buff in combot because blz?

and, nChat's memory use float between 80~500KB, is it normal?

ps.alt+leftclick invite player to group seems convenient, will this feature be added?

thanks.

I would like to use a different texture on nPlates. I edited this code:
Code:
self.Health:SetBackdrop({
        bgFile = 'Interface\\Buttons\\WHITE8x8',
        insets = {
            left = -2,
            right = -2,
            top = -2,
            bottom = -2
        }
    })
But it doesn't seem to change the texture. What line do I need to edit?

Also, can you tell my why my level 85 toons have class colored nameplates in BG's but on my level 13 warlock they are all just red?
1. Simply add these above self.Health:SetBackdrop()

Code:
self.Health:SetStatusBarTexture(YOURTEXTUREHERE)
Or what texture do you mean? :O

2. This is a part of the original UI... "Interface > Combat > Nameplates in Classcolor" (or something like this, have a german client)
