Options

Type /pouf for options, or browse to the oUF Phanx panel in the standard Interface Options window.

⚑ If you want to change something that doesn’t have an in-game option to change, you will need to modify the layout’s Lua code yourself. If you need help modifying the code, post in the oUF forum, not here. This page is for support of the official version only.

Bug Reports

To report an error or other problem, please submit a bug report ticket.

Please don't use comments to report bugs, as comments cannot be bookmarked, searched, sorted, etc. and things posted there tend to get lost quickly or overlooked entirely.

⚑ If you are using a copy of oUF_Phanx with modifications of any kind, do not report bugs here. Reproduce the problem with an unmodified copy first, or post in the oUF forum for help with your modifications.

Feature Requests

Please note that this layout is written primarily to fill my own needs as a PvE enhancement shaman, and I'm not interested in adding any major features I wouldn't use myself. If you'd like to suggest a minor change to improve the layout for your class, or request support for a plugin, feel free to submit a suggestion describing your idea.

Raid frames will not be added. Use Grid or another raid frame addon of your choice.

Absorb amount bars are not planned at this time. If you think you have a good reason why I should change my mind, and it isn't PvP- or priest-specific, post a comment.

Aura Filter Notes

The predefined filters are based on the following criteria. If you think something should be changed in the predefined filter list for your class, please make sure it meets these criteria before requesting it.

Debuffs must be:

actively applied (feral druids don’t see Infected Wounds)
and not channeled (warlocks don’t see Drain Life),
or applied by someone else, and affects what you apply (rogues do see Curse of the Elements).

Buffs must be:

actively applied (resto shamans don’t see Earthliving)
with a short duration (priests don’t see Power Word: Fortitude)
or directly affecting your combat choices (Clearcasting, Bloodlust, etc).

Language Support

Compatible with English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português, Русский, 한국어, 简体中文, and 繁體中文 game clients.

Translated into English, Deutsch (partial), Español, Français, Português, and 简体中文.

To add or update translations for any locale, enter them on the CurseForge project page and then send me a PM here (or on CurseForge) to let me know that you’ve made changes. The PM is important -- Curse doesn't notify me when new translations are added, so if you don't notify me either, I may not notice your translations for weeks, months, or ever!

I have to agree with you, I also like a classcolored background. That way, I can make my UI cleaner as I can use a universal color for the health bar and border. It will be easier to see what shapeshift a druid is in as you can color your powerbar according to his or her powertype. A bright background will help see how important it is to heal someone (paladins before rogues for example). And we always have namecoloring if everyone is at 100% health.

To summarize what we are saying, I think we have grown familiar with the grid layout (as in, the AddOn grid) and I don't want to go back

Hi Pinghansen,

I plan to add more coloring options, but separate coloring for the foreground and background will mean doing the coloring myself instead of just telling oUF how to color the bar, so it will take more time.

Yes thanks, I did. It is now set to 0, as that gives the best contrast.

Quite satisfactory, and it works well.

The optimal solution (in my eyes

), would have been the ability to use class colors for the background, like how it is done in ShotGlass Raid Frames.

We're able to disable it, but with it enabled, does it still cover the cast bar?

So it needs to be added in two sections. Code: [85383] = 4, -- Improved Soul Fire [54277] = 4, -- Backdraft [47221] = 4, -- Empowered Imp [63167] = 4, -- Decimation Shadow Trance was already in for affliction locks so I think it makes sense to also add these. Every PVE lock uses soulfire to keep up this debuff, so it is actively applied. Backdraft might be the only one that does not have to be in as it is applied after casting conflagrate. I like seeing it however as it increases my haste. Speed of Light is also in, which is comparable I think.

I’ll post an update in a few minutes. I also don’t have a moonkin, so I basically just used the balance bar code mojosdojo posted in his/her feature request ticket. For now I’ll add an option to disable the eclipse bar, so you can keep using another addon for that if you want. Type this in-game: Code: /run PoUFDB.useEclipseBar = false; ReloadUI() After that, the eclipse bar won’t load anymore. If you want to turn it back on again, type the same thing, but change the “false” to “true”. Edit: Looks like the layout has changed a bit, and the boss and party frames are anchored to the Minimap. Some people move the Minimap (mine is in the lower right corner) I would recommend only changing the default layout to use UIParent and other oUF_Phanx frames as reference, since that will be constant in everyone's UI.
