Options

Type /pouf for options, or browse to the oUF Phanx panel in the standard Interface Options window.

⚑ If you want to change something that doesn’t have an in-game option to change, you will need to modify the layout’s Lua code yourself. If you need help modifying the code, post in the oUF forum, not here. This page is for support of the official version only.

Bug Reports

To report an error or other problem, please submit a bug report ticket.

Please don't use comments to report bugs, as comments cannot be bookmarked, searched, sorted, etc. and things posted there tend to get lost quickly or overlooked entirely.

⚑ If you are using a copy of oUF_Phanx with modifications of any kind, do not report bugs here. Reproduce the problem with an unmodified copy first, or post in the oUF forum for help with your modifications.

Feature Requests

Please note that this layout is written primarily to fill my own needs as a PvE enhancement shaman, and I'm not interested in adding any major features I wouldn't use myself. If you'd like to suggest a minor change to improve the layout for your class, or request support for a plugin, feel free to submit a suggestion describing your idea.

Raid frames will not be added. Use Grid or another raid frame addon of your choice.

Absorb amount bars are not planned at this time. If you think you have a good reason why I should change my mind, and it isn't PvP- or priest-specific, post a comment.

Aura Filter Notes

The predefined filters are based on the following criteria. If you think something should be changed in the predefined filter list for your class, please make sure it meets these criteria before requesting it.

Debuffs must be:

actively applied (feral druids don’t see Infected Wounds)
and not channeled (warlocks don’t see Drain Life),
or applied by someone else, and affects what you apply (rogues do see Curse of the Elements).

Buffs must be:

actively applied (resto shamans don’t see Earthliving)
with a short duration (priests don’t see Power Word: Fortitude)
or directly affecting your combat choices (Clearcasting, Bloodlust, etc).

Language Support

Compatible with English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português, Русский, 한국어, 简体中文, and 繁體中文 game clients.

Translated into English, Deutsch (partial), Español, Français, Português, and 简体中文.

To add or update translations for any locale, enter them on the CurseForge project page and then send me a PM here (or on CurseForge) to let me know that you’ve made changes. The PM is important -- Curse doesn't notify me when new translations are added, so if you don't notify me either, I may not notice your translations for weeks, months, or ever!

The spell name isn't showing on the player frame's cast bar, but it shows on the target frame cast bar. http://i52.tinypic.com/mrb40.jpg I checked the code you posted to try and help me last time, but it looks fine. I just reinstalled the layout today and changed nothing but the position of the frames to get them off of my raid frame area in the center. (did not change any scale, colors, fonts, borders.) Any ideas?

Maybe. I’m still working on the bar color options, though. Please post a feature request. Otherwise, it’s likely to get lost in the comments.

I know there are different sizes used, so I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to simply multiply their original size by a user set percentage chosen in the configuration menu and round to the nearest integer and use that as the font size for each font string. A little smaller will handle longer NPC names ... 2) PhanxBuffs screen shots show a PhanxMinimap (2nd image) with the Phanx border. Is that for public consumption yet? Comment 1) Bar colors keep resetting on me. It remembers I've colored it a bit green, but every /reload I lose the color. It remembers what I've chosen, however, because when I return to the interface options, and click on the Bar Colors menu item, it restores the color. It's remembering what I want, just not applying it after reload, only after revisiting menu selection point. Thanks.

Usually the only debuffs that are important are ones you can dispel, or ones put on you in boss fights. The frame borders change color to show you when you get a debuff you can dispel, and your boss mod should tell you when you get a boss debuff. Unfortunately some Buffs/Debuffs aren´t displayed since their spell-id´s changed in 4.0x) The ones that aren´t working for me are (dual-prot-specced so i was unable to check all of them): Sunder Armor (new ID: 58567) Shield Wall (typo in auras.lua, correct one is 871) Last Stand (new ID: 12976) Victory Rush (ID: 32216) Another Buff you could to add for Protection-specced Warriors is Thunderstruck (Spell-ID 87096). Already added it for myself but maybe some other Warriors are also interested in seeing its stacks directly above their UF´s. Oh and i have a little Feature Request. Hope it´s okay to post it here Would it be possible to see my debuffs directly below/above/next to my UF? Would be great to see if there´s a debuff on me without having to look somewhere else on my screen or adding a Buff-Addon just for that purpose. P.S.: Greetings from Germany....hope my english wasn´t too bad or at least understandable

A set of extra party auras shows up in the far upper right corner of the screen when I use oUF_Phanx. Commenting out the particular spells in the auras.lua (Earth Shield and Riptide) causes both sets of auras to disappear. I'm not entirely sure if that second set of auras is intentional or no, but I'm using a fresh install of oUF_Phanx and the placement seems odd. http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/229...1011160645.jpg You can see them there on top of the minimap in the upper right corner. Spell names should be shown on all castbars, unless the parent frame’s relative width is less than 75%. Maybe you changed the player frame’s relative width?

You can also just install oUF_MovableFrames to move the frames, instead of having to edit the layout code.

Awesome, thanks, I'll check it out tonight. I don't believe I changed any percentage based things though, only moved the frames out so I could get vuhdo in the center.
