oUF layout with many PvE-oriented features and a few options.

Features include aura filtering, dispel highlighting, threat highlighting, incoming heal bars, display of all secondary resources, totem timers, cast bars for player/pet/target, incoming resurrection text, combat feedback text, and AFK timers. Mouse over the frames for more detailed health and power text. Hold Shift out of combat to temporarily disable aura filtering and see all buffs. Some elements auto-adjust based on role (healer, tank, damage).

Supported units: player, pet, target, target’s target, focus, focus’s target, party, party pets, arena enemies, and bosses. Raid frames will not be added; use Grid or another raid frame addon of your choice.

Supported plugins: oUF_MovableFrames, oUF_SmoothUpdate, oUF_SpellRange, and any plugin which does not require explicit support from within a layout. Also Clique for click-casting.

Options

Type /pouf for options, or browse to the oUF Phanx panel in the standard Interface Options window.
IMPORTANT: If you want to change something that doesn’t have an in-game option to change, you will need to modify the layout’s Lua code yourself. If you need help modifying the code, post in the oUF forum, not here. This page is for support of the official version only. Comments on this page asking for help with code modifications will be deleted.
Language Support

Works in all languages. Translated into Deutsch, Español, Français (partial), Português (partial), Русский (partial), and 简体中文 (partial). To add or update translations for any locale, enter them on the CurseForge project page and then send me a PM here (or on CurseForge) to let me know that you’ve made changes.

To suggest a new feature, submit a ticket describing your idea. If you are requesting support for a plugin, please include a link to its download page. At this time I am not planning to add an absorption/shield bar to match the one added to the default UI in Patch 5.2, but if you have a really good argument that isn't PvP-related or priest-specific, feel free to try to convince me.

To report an error or other problem, submit a bug report with the version of oUF_Phanx you are using, detailed instructions I can follow to reproduce the bug myself, whether the bug still happens when all other addons are disabled, and the exact text of the accompanying error message (if any).
IMPORTANT: If you are using a copy of oUF_Phanx with modifications of any kind, do not report bugs here. Reproduce the problem with an unmodified copy first, or post in the oUF forum for help with your modifications.

With a clean WTF and only oUF + oUF_Phanx loaded, I can see the Weakened Soul debuff on the Target frame only. I do not get debuff icons on the playerframe, targettarget frame, focusframe, or any partyframes. (Though I only really expected them on the partyframes since they show important buffs from me, while targettarget and focus show no auras whatsoever and playerframe has only shown buffs.)

In version .176:
With myself targeted, the chatframe will have multiple messages: "UnitDebuff player 1 Weakened Soul nil", "UnitDebuff target 1 Weakened Soul nil", and "UnitDebuff targettarget 1 Weakened Soul nil". These are repeated multiple times for the duration of the debuff.

When I target someone else in the group, no matter which partynum they are, I receive this message in the chatframe exactly once: "UnitDebuff party 1 Weakened Soul nil". It also scrolls multiple "UnitDebuff target 1 Weakened Soul nil" as normal for a targeted unit, in party or not.

Hi vitosans,

WoWInterface doesn’t have a way to attach real patch files, no. You can attach patch files to tickets on CurseForge if you have an account there, or you can just copy and paste the text from the diff file into a ticket here. But, I probably won’t add support for the plugin you mentioned. There are lots of good threat addons already, so it’s not really needed in a unit frame addon, sorry.

Hi faeldray,

I don’t plan to add any level display to the player or party frames. It’s not really important what level your party members are, and you can easily see your own level by opening the character window. If you want to add it yourself, though, it shouldn’t be too hard to change the code in the spawn function to add level text to other frames besides the target frame.

I created an addon for this layout using oUF_ThreatBar plugin and thought others might like it..

Not sure if this will work but here is the code around 981 on core.lua add this:

I have never tinkered with lua and the wow/ouf api's so I am sure there is a better way to integrate with this layout, but I love the threatbars from other layouts but prefer the Phanx style. So here is the best of both worlds, remember you need to install the oUF_ThreatBar plugin It works good and has the same theme, does not support moving with pouf or omf so you need to modify the code to change the position, maybe someone else can chip in and show me how to do that Share and Share alike!

Screenshot: Its had to get a good screenshot of this in action as it changes due to aggro. But here is a show w/ 0 Aggro and 100% Aggro hope it helps.

Player/Party Level

Fantastic addon, I really love the look of it. I just wish I could find a good LUA guide so I can make a couple small changes here and there.

On that note, is there any way for me to go about adding a little bit of text that shows the level of my character, as well as any in my party? I have an army of alts I play and with a lot of them running multiple dungeons, it would be handy to keep track of these sort of things. I'd be perfectly comfortable with adding in code wherever if you could point me in the right direction.

Party buffs/debuffs.

I'm not sure if I have messed up my spell configuration or if it is working as intended, but if this is already working for anyone, please let me know.

Next to the party frames, it would be nice to see the Weakened Soul debuff that is applied along with Power Word: Shield. It may be even more important to keep watch over after the next patch.

Hi chenyuli,

I don’t plan to add experience or rep bars to this layout. There are tons of standalone XP bar addons out there, and if you really wanted them to be part of your unit frame, you could even put it right next to the unit frame and make it the same size. Good luck!

Excuse me, does it contain Death Knight's rune system? After install, my Death Knight's rune bar doesn't change, and I can't find out the config options about it like eclipse bar.

Hi Zoddy,

Cast bars on the boss frames aren’t something I’ll add. They would take up too much space, for one thing, and any boss abilities you really need to know about should be covered by your boss mod, or even by the boss warnings built into the base UI.

Thanks for the quick response! I'll take a look through the pages to find the instructions thanks a lot!

As for the party frames I may have actually found the problem, I had the "party as raid" option turned on in the WoW interface for whatever reason (never had it on previously) which most likely caused my party frames to obey the raid frames settings while in arena and since Phanx doesnt have any raid frames it could explain why no frames appeared. I'll have to test this out in my next arena match but I have a feeling it was just a mistake on my part and no fault in the UI

edit: After reading through the 18 pages I saw a few people ask for an option to turn off the hiding of the health/power numbers but I didn't find any instruction on how to actually change this in the coding. Although Phanx did make it pretty clear that he doesn't support making a change like this haha

Both myself and Phanx have posted instructions for making the health and power text always show. Look through the last few pages of comments to find them.

Party frames shouldn’t disappear in arenas. I’ll look into it. If you could post a bug report, that would be great. Thanks!

Agreed with Tobbe, however there are a few things I'd like to change, is there anyway I can make the health/power display always shown? or at least always shown while in combat instead of being hidden until damage is taken. And another thing I noticed was in arena (I'm a huge PvPer) my teammates party frames disappeared for whatever reason, is there anyway I can get those to show while in arena?

Good Work

I must say this is some really good work. If I hadnt use my own I probly would have used this. I really like the "classtimer" you have included into your frames. Best layout I've seen for a while and everythings included
