oUF layout with many PvE-oriented features and a few options.

Features include aura filtering, dispel highlighting, threat highlighting, incoming heal bars, display of all secondary resources, totem timers, cast bars for player/pet/target, incoming resurrection text, combat feedback text, AFK timers, and smoothly updating bars. Mouse over the frames for more detailed health and power text. Hold Shift out of combat to temporarily disable aura filtering and see all buffs. Some elements auto-adjust based on role (healer, tank, damage).

Type /pouf for options, or browse to the oUF Phanx panel in the standard Interface Options window.

Supported units: player, pet, target, targetís target, focus, focusís target, party, party pets, arena enemies, and bosses. Raid frames will not be added; use Grid or another raid frame addon of your choice.

Supported plugins: oUF_MovableFrames, oUF_SpellRange, and any plugin which does not require explicit support from within a layout. Also Clique for click-casting.

Note that you must install the oUF core addon separately.

Thank you for the help Cala

Looks like the changes suggested by Inopua worked like a treat. The reason i didnt try it in first place was because the problem was described with it working after reload which it didn't in my case.

And removing the auras.lua seems to have fixed the aura problem.

See inopua's reply below. Party frames will spawn as soon as you adjust the lines in the core.lua file.

I am likewise having this issue, however, I didn't have time to turn off aura filtering before servers went down, will try as soon as they come back up.

I also noticed a couple of other things:

If you change the height of the power bar in the config, it will not change in game. Border size does not persist in the Saved Variable, must be manually changed. The border color likewise does not persist in the saved variable, but the change to the health bar color (which from glancing at the lua file, it looks to be connected) will persist.

Latest versions of both oUF and oUF_Phanx. No other oUF plugins.

Asking for advice, I really like the looks of it, but i got a couple of problems with it:

1. Party frames not spawning

2. No buffs/debuffs showing on target frame at all

I have ofc. tried with every addon but oUF/oUF Phanx turned off and still get the same problem.

Could it be a problem with saved variables, cache or something else?
If anyone has an idea about what could be the cause of it i would really appreciate the help.

Edit:

Tried other oUF layouts and it's not the only one this happens with, most others do spawn party, some do spawn buff/debuffs and some don't.

oh and oUF version is 1.52

Lightbulb idea

Phanx,

I really like this oUF Layout, Its basic, clean cut, and fresh!

my only dislike about this layout is that it has no options in "/pouf" to enable/disable the stats to show permanently instead of only showing at mouse hove over. I like to see exactly how much health i have rather then just a naked blank bar.
Other then that it looks great mate, keep up the good work!

p.s. any chance this might be included in the next update with your boss frames and raid debuffs

Hi,

I really like this oUF Layout, but it gives me some odd behaviour.
The party frame is only visible after an ui reload.

To test this I was only using oUF version 1.5.2 and your latest release. At the moment it is not clear to me if the error is on my end or not.

The complete Saved Variable folder was wiped out, before testing. I recieve no error messages with bugsack.

I hope you have some solution for this little problem.

Install BugSack. It will keep all of the error messages that occur while you're playing, so you can go back and look at them (and copy them) later.

I was in a hurry when it happened, and the other people waiting wasn't going to accept, "sorry guys, I'm going to heal some of you, but not all because my unit frames went belly up on something I cant see you all", so I /reloaded my ui and it worked fine.

I'll see if I can get it to show the same error again, but I fear it may be a race condition, which is why I posted it without looking too much into the code.
