oUF layout with many PvE-oriented features and a few options.

Features include aura filtering, dispel highlighting, threat highlighting, incoming heal bars, display of all secondary resources, totem timers, cast bars for player/pet/target, incoming resurrection text, combat feedback text, and AFK timers. Mouse over the frames for more detailed health and power text. Hold Shift out of combat to temporarily disable aura filtering and see all buffs. Some elements auto-adjust based on role (healer, tank, damage).

Type /pouf for options, or browse to the oUF Phanx panel in the standard Interface Options window.

Supported units: player, pet, target, target’s target, focus, focus’s target, party, party pets, arena enemies, and bosses. Raid frames will not be added; use Grid or another raid frame addon of your choice.

Supported plugins: oUF_MovableFrames, oUF_SmoothUpdate, oUF_SpellRange, and any plugin which does not require explicit support from within a layout. Also Clique for click-casting.

Language Support

Thanks for the quick response! I'll take a look through the pages to find the instructions thanks a lot!

As for the party frames I may have actually found the problem, I had the "party as raid" option turned on in the WoW interface for whatever reason (never had it on previously) which most likely caused my party frames to obey the raid frames settings while in arena and since Phanx doesnt have any raid frames it could explain why no frames appeared. I'll have to test this out in my next arena match but I have a feeling it was just a mistake on my part and no fault in the UI

edit: After reading through the 18 pages I saw a few people ask for an option to turn off the hiding of the health/power numbers but I didn't find any instruction on how to actually change this in the coding. Although Phanx did make it pretty clear that he doesn't support making a change like this haha

Hi Dergless,

Both myself and Phanx have posted instructions for making the health and power text always show. Look through the last few pages of comments to find them.

Party frames shouldn’t disappear in arenas. I’ll look into it. If you could post a bug report, that would be great. Thanks!

Agreed with Tobbe, however there are a few things I'd like to change, is there anyway I can make the health/power display always shown? or at least always shown while in combat instead of being hidden until damage is taken. And another thing I noticed was in arena (I'm a huge PvPer) my teammates party frames disappeared for whatever reason, is there anyway I can get those to show while in arena?

Good Work

I must say this is some really good work. If I hadnt use my own I probly would have used this. I really like the "classtimer" you have included into your frames. Best layout I've seen for a while and everythings included

Bug: Border intensity value is inconsistent.

When it is changed via the config GUI, it is not applied in the same way as it is during the core setup. Values less than 100% look correct when applied via the GUI's method, and values above 100% look correct when applied at startup.

This can be semi-fixed by changing line 608 of core.lua to

power.bg.multiplier = (config.bgColorIntensity > 1 and 1 / config.bgColorIntensity) or config.bgColorIntensity
However the option is confusing in general and does not work well with extremely bright or dark colors (even when the code is consistent). I would rather see the range changed to 0-90% combined with an option to truly invert the bars (ideally a separate option for each the health and power bars).

Thanks I have been missing that.

IMHO, showing the icon when when the pet is "content" or "unhappy", is optimal. Having multiple indications is overshoot and may cause confusion.

Hi Vissariot,

I’ll add oUF_boring_totembar support in the next version. Also, if you use the default UI’s totem button bar, you can add timers to it with Improved Totem Frame.

The pet power bar actually isn’t showing happiness right now, but unit reaction. It is the same color for “friendly reaction” and “happy pet” though. I’ll add happiness coloring in the next version for hunter pets, and maybe also add an icon for unhappy/content to make it extra obvious.

Totem Timers request

First of all, i would like to thank you, Phanx and Akkorian, for your time and efforts in making a beautiful, full-featured and still lightweight (both memory and CPU wise) oUF layout!

Since my main is a shaman, my only request is implementing Totem Timers. It's the only thing I'm missing. Thoughts of reverting to Blizzard's default Unit Frames, just for the timers, crossed my mind, but I will miss everything in oUF_Phanx, so default Unit Frames is not an option! (Sorry Blizzard ) A feature request about this is already posted. I hope it will not be too difficult and/or time consuming for you...

Hey Pinghansen! Pet happiness indicator is already in! It's represented by the color of the pet's power bar! (I was incorrect. /shame)

Pet happiness indicator

I really would like to be able to see the happiness indicator on the pet frame for my hunters. Edit: no reason to show if , only show if less than perfectly happy.

I used to have a 3rd party indicator, but it has not been working for a long time, and I find myself forgetting to feed/mend the poor creature - which leads to lowering my DPS.

Actually - who cares With the bandwidth available today, a few ms less download time makes no difference.

On the other hand - if you want to cut down on the complexity and remove some deadwood ....

SharedMedia is always a good idea.
