When I try to copy/paste from addon to .ics file, it says it cannot import the .ics file. In fact, when i look at the output, the parsing stops in the middle of the description of an event instead of the correct ending of an ical file. Is this a known bug or is it just me?
Group Calendar Interface blocking Blizzard Flare use
If I have Group Calendar 5 loaded up in a raid, the game gives me an interface error (but no bug error to catch) that prevents me from using the blizzard raid flares and sometimes blocks me from assigning individuals as main tank or assistant in the raid window. I'm not sure what hook could be causing this, but it all goes away if I unload GC5.

Ran into an error today when opening up GC. A guild mate had posted a sign up for a Baradin Hold 10 man raid and when I clicked on it I got the following:

I would think Data Broker support would be more useful to everyone (not just Titan Panel) since Titan Panel supports it. But yes, what you suggest would certainly enhance it's abilities if done well with useful information and tool-tips etc. An optional "date display" would be nice too and seems a natural given that it's a calendar (with configurable colors and/or chat messages for new event alerts etc).
Edit: After looking around a bit, I found this GroupCalendarBroker over on Curse (last updated on October 13, 2010) that supports GroupCalendar5. This may add the feature(s) you are requesting (and possibly nullifies what I wrote earlier). /Edit
Personally speaking, I like to leave my clock on my mini-map if only to see how long I've been playing.

Originally posted by mundocani I don't see a compelling reason to remove that information. Some people have trouble seeing colors and so the class names are an alternative way for them to get the info. Not all events are restricted to level 80's so player level is useful in those events. Finally, the list isn't always sorted by status and so the status column is useful when it isn't.
Thanks for the fast reply.
I wasnt asking for it to be removed all together, but an option to show/not show these for the people that dont want to see it.
I understand that its not always set to level specific. What I meant was for instance someone who does use the level specific feature will not need it to say the level of the character next to the name, so an option to remove it when it is set at level specific, and to show it when its open to all levels is what I was thinking (same for the class and confirmation setting)
Is that possible? or is it to much work? Just a thought.
Originally posted by renerie Hello, I was wondering if its possible to remove the bit where it has the class and level of a player next to there names?
I know what class they are as its colored and I know there lvl 80 because I set it to invite 80s for the raid.
Also is it possible to remove next to the name if they are confirmed? again I know they are confirmed because they are under the confirmed section, not accepted or tentaive ext (if that makes sense?)

Yup, having the same issues as others below. I'm not sure what changed in WoW.

I'd love to be able to have the role categories displayed without having to "Confirm" those that accepted. In the past I'd go down the list and just confirm, but we ended up having issues where people had something come up but couldn't change their invite status because they'd been locked in.
2/19 12:09:09.421 An action was blocked because of taint from GroupCalendar5 - SearchLFGLeave()
2/19 12:09:09.421 Interface\FrameXML\LFRFrame.lua:389 LFRBrowseFrame_OnUpdateAlways()
2/19 12:09:09.421 UIParent:OnUpdate()
GroupCalendar 5 isn't the culprit here. Blizzard's taint-detecting "feature" is about as useful as a piece of cloth armour with Defence Rating on it. It blames seemingly random addons rather than even think about looking for the real culprit. For instance, I get the same taint message but Blizzard blames Overachiever instead.
Just so you know.
