What is VuhDo? – VuhDo is a raid monitor similar to CTRaidAssist or Blizzards built-in raid frames. Basically this is about displaying the health of raid members in form of clearly arranged bars. VuhDo is primarily directed to healing classes, but will make use to almost any other class. Moreover several healing spells or other actions can be asserted to mouse clicks on those bars (Click-Heal).

What VuhDo can do:
1. Display all relevant informations about your raid members
- Life,
- Mana, other types of power
- Debuffs
- Range
- Incoming Heal
- Aggro
- Threat
- HoTs
- Charmed status
- PvP status
- Tooltips (for race, class, level and current location)
- Player Tags (such as afk, disconnected, dead)
- Shields

2. Casting
- You can heal, decurse, target, assist or focus raid memers with just one click
- You can bind any usable item and any macro to mouse clicks
- You can assign up to 40 mouse click combinations to cast on raid members
- You can assign up to 16 keys to cast when mouse over
- You can automatically fire your trinkets and instant casts whenever cooldown is over
- You can automatically resurrect and decurse players out of combat

3. Set up the raid
- manage main tanks (CTRA/ORA compatible) and personally selected players.
- Setup who is raid lead, assistant and master looter
- Check who is one of the above

4. Buffing
- You can easily keep track of all of your buffs
- You can rebuff automatically chosing the most suitable spell and target
- You can smart buff your raid automatically selecting missing buffs

Special Features:
- Up to 10 independent raid member panels
- Completely free arrangement of raid members: You can move any group to any position in any panel:
You can select to see your groups by class, group number role or any combination.
Easy group arrangement via Drag’n’Drop.
You can additionally setup to display Pets, Vehicles, Main Tanks, private Tanks.
A panel setup wizard lets you setup most common settings with a few clicks
- You can store different skins and arrangements of panels separately

Hi Purity,
it's not really a problem adding more buffs to buff watch. It's just that I' don't like to maintain them. Blizz tends to rename or merge buffs each Update so I'd like to conenctrate on healing classes. To add buffs to buffwatch yourself: Look for entries like "..._BUFFC_... = "05Blah" in VuhDoLocalization_xx.lua, add a key for mages increasing the number by one (Buff Category). Repeat for buff name (Leave out the "C" in _BUFFC_ and leave out number. Add the buff/-category into the large array in VuhDoBuffConst.lua, select appropriate Buff target code and that's it...

How can I add my mage buff Molten Armor to list for the "buff key"?

The buffkey works really well for intelligence for myself and the group but I would like to rebuff myself with my armor buff if its missing as well.


I am willing to manually add it in the code for personal use if you could point me in the right direction.

I did have one issue that i thought had been resolved. I occasionally got a message in combat log stating something like "your target is dead" when attempting to cast wild growth. Manually targeting them and casting wild growth fixed it.

thank you. This is the good old wild growth bug (wow client bug). Make a macro "MyWg" like this to work around:

/cleartarget
/cast [target=vuhdo] Wild Growth
/targetlasttarget

and bind "MyWg" in options=>spells=>mouse instead of the spell name.

Iza,

Thanks once again for an amazing add-on and your insane amount of support and work put in to it. Your add-on allowed me to almost solo heal 10 man naxx on my druid (did 80% of healing done, think i might be able to really solo heal it and admittedly it was overpowered mains running thru for badges).
First time i have healed kel with an addon that showed mana detonate and ice tomb as distinct icons, helped a bunch.

Textures

I read through the Manual-VuhDo.doc but could not find anything on customer textures. The hover tip says to just type in the name of the texture for bars etc. While this does add the texture name to the drop down it does not appear to work.

Do I need to add the textures to a particular folder or will Share Media suffice perhaps I am getting the formatting on the name wrong?

Umm....this is great. Really nice. I switched to ouf pl3m and this. I was struggling to find a party targets layout that I liked and yours does that, too! Really nice! I just want to say thank you. I am less laggy in Dalaran even.

Oh and the simplicity of assigning clicks is fantastic! I could go on and on.

If anyone has been thinking about trying this, please do. I play a mage right now and I love this for curses and sheeping and assisting. Our druid loves it too. Profiles is nice too when switching from healer to tank, the clicks are completely reassigned. Thats NICE.

Hehe, no problem. In previous versions VuhDo took about 6 MByte out of the box (which I also thought was not much of a problem, because that is RAM worth exactly $0,12 - if you are buying the expensive, fast one and which is not occupied permanently of course), but people kept complaining that this would be too much and so I worked many, many hours on reducing it and finally have been overly proud to have it below 2MB... so please forgive me my reaction

ok ok im sorry but i did told its worth it! I also had Grid for raid, Clique for click healing and Lifebloomer for tanks frames so yeah those 3 combined is above 2mb and Your addon is under 2mb and its all in one and rly awsome all in one!

I've recently made the switch to this addon as well, and the previous comment about memory usage is just silly tbh.

If you consider this addon is capable of replacing Grid + Clique + buff check addons + raid frames + godknowswhateverelse, for only, and i say again, ONLY 2mb of ram, then thats fine by me. Grid on it's own is around 1mb.

To the author: Love it, keep it up, one of the very best of it's kind =)

What do you mean with memory expensive? Latest version will take <2 MByte in solo play... BTW: We live in the 21 century where ram is counted in gigabytes... I'm sorry but it always makes me angry to read things like this... On topic: You can set panel anchor points in options=>panels=general. Select an anchor point on the right to make panels grow to the left.

Changing Skins, arrangement AND Key layouts along with specc change would mean some major code changes. I'm considering this, but don't expect this to happen in next release. Meanwhile you can easily load the whole stuff using a macro like this:

/vd load <Skin name>,<Arrangement name>,<Key layout name>

(with no <> characters)

It can highlight all kinds of debuffs. Just you need to set it up. It reads KT's Frost Blast, Ignis' Slag Pot and much more. Been using this for a good 3 months now maybe a little longer and it can do equally what Grid does. Grid might run a tad faster though than Vuhdo.

The buff frame can be scaled down or up depending on your needs. I have it as one single row at the bottom of my screen with Vuhdo running towards the middle left.

You can make "profiles". I have it "autoswitch" when I change specs including click casting, spells and much more. On the site there is a guide that tells you how this is done. Iza has taken the best of Healbot and Grid and meshed up into this with more features and more professional developing.
