What is VuhDo? – VuhDo is a raid monitor similar to CTRaidAssist or Blizzards built-in raid frames. Basically this is about displaying the health of raid members in form of clearly arranged bars. VuhDo is primarily directed to healing classes, but will make use to almost any other class. Moreover several healing spells or other actions can be asserted to mouse clicks on those bars (Click-Heal).

What VuhDo can do:
1. Display all relevant informations about your raid members
- Life,
- Mana, other types of power
- Debuffs
- Range
- Incoming Heal
- Aggro
- Threat
- HoTs
- Charmed status
- PvP status
- Tooltips (for race, class, level and current location)
- Player Tags (such as afk, disconnected, dead)
- Shields

2. Casting
- You can heal, decurse, target, assist or focus raid memers with just one click
- You can bind any usable item and any macro to mouse clicks
- You can assign up to 40 mouse click combinations to cast on raid members
- You can assign up to 16 keys to cast when mouse over
- You can automatically fire your trinkets and instant casts whenever cooldown is over
- You can automatically resurrect and decurse players out of combat

3. Set up the raid
- manage main tanks (CTRA/ORA compatible) and personally selected players.
- Setup who is raid lead, assistant and master looter
- Check who is one of the above

4. Buffing
- You can easily keep track of all of your buffs
- You can rebuff automatically chosing the most suitable spell and target
- You can smart buff your raid automatically selecting missing buffs

Special Features:
- Up to 10 independent raid member panels
- Completely free arrangement of raid members: You can move any group to any position in any panel:
You can select to see your groups by class, group number role or any combination.
Easy group arrangement via Drag’n’Drop.
You can additionally setup to display Pets, Vehicles, Main Tanks, private Tanks.
A panel setup wizard lets you setup most common settings with a few clicks
- You can store different skins and arrangements of panels separately

Italian Spells

Hi all, I'm trying to use new 5.0.4 italian language but vuhdo is not recogniziting spells anymore... I had to write down all italian spell names for mouse clicks, but what about negative spells to track which vuhdo used to do to me?
Let's say for example: deathwing neck: who's gripped and who has healing debuff

If you change client language you need to reset the addon: Exit game client, run reset_vuhdo.bat. All spells, hots, buffs and debuffs will be initialized in new cllient's language then. Note that you can also drag and drop spells from your spellbook into the edit boxes in options=>spells=>mouse.

Changes not saving

Using the newest version and color changes does not change on bar background etc. I've tried without other addons but still won't save or even change color when I select another color.

I've been using VuhDo alot in cata and hopefully I can start using it now in MoP. I just need to be able to change colors and what not

I'm sorry, but I don't fully understand I fear. What color did you change? (Options=>Colors=>?) To change background color select options=>general=>indicators, make sure "Background: Solid" is selected for background bar, click "edit" next to it, pick "always: solid" from the list on the right, select another color in color picker there.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Indicators > Health Bar (generic: solid) > Edit > Flag: Always Solid - Then I pick a color and press "Okay" and instantly notice it hasn't changed on the bars and not in the options either and if I click to choose a color again it shows the default one.

Edit: I didn't notice at first but "Background: Solid" was obviously not what I picked and that's the error I made. My bad, thanks for the quick reply! Keeping the text incase someone else made the same mistake.. heh

Spell List for Each Spec?

Is there a way to do a spell list for each spec?

As an enhancement shammy - I no longer have Healing Wave or Greater Healing Wave - so my main heal is Healing Surge and in resto spec its Healing Wave. I'd like to be able to just left click on the bar and cast one of these depending on the spec I'm in versus having to remap buttons. Is there currently a way to do this?

How you handle showing and hiding of Blizzard frames causes conflicts with other addons because you forcibly show them. This is really not appropriate for a raid frame to be doing as it's not uncommon for people to run unit frames that will handle it anyway, and causes conflicts with other addons that hide Blizzard functionality.

In addition, you should NEVER be using RegisterAllEvents. It's purely meant for debugging and it's a big performance penalty to be using as an alternative to keeping track of what events a frame responds to.

Options=>Tools=>Key Layouts, save two different assignments, mark them spec 1/2 respectively.

I agree, unfortunately some people use different VuhDo profiles based on group size etc and want their default ui hidden or shown when loading a profile. That's why I introduced tri-state settings for blizz ui elements (Show, hide, leave untouched, see Options=>general=>misc) in latest version so this is supposed to better suit third party addons which handle blizz frames on their own (like said raid frames).

I do also agree that using RegisterAllEvents is way bad practice, but I like to avoid to go too deep into Blizz code (and different versions of it) to keep track of whether a ui element registers for a particular event or not. Any suggestions?

Uploaded 3.11 right now. Standard UI elements shouldn't be reenabled there anymore unless you load a profile where it's explicitly set to "show" (not on startup not on raid roster changes anmyore).

Anything except RegisterAllEvents is optimal whether it's trying to keep track of the events registered originally or hardcoding it. RegisterAllEvents is purely a debug function and is incredibly inefficient to use.

Right now you're opening up a fire hose on a large quantity of frames and using it to fill a glass of water.

Yes, I'm aware. I'm working on it right now, I tried to find a way to tell what events a given frame is registered to, but you can only find out what frames are registered to a certain event so far... I ended up checking Blizz interface code for all event registrations for affected standard ui elements so I can check them using frame:IsEventRegistered() to tell if it originally was registered, but this won't protect it from future changes. Is there a lib enumerating all available events or something to your knowledge?

I was wondering myself if there is a possibility to change the raid icons? I would like to use the icons from TukUI / ElvUI instead of the standard WoW ones.

Well i got another issue:
I created a new Bonquet
- 1 [Icon: Raid leader]
- 2 [Flag: Always Class Color]
- 3 [Flag: Role Tank]

I selected this Bonquet in the HoT Icons (Panels > Hot Icons > HoT Order > Slot 1).
I want to Flag the Tank with a class-colored sketch-Icon and the Leader is market with a yellow-orange sketch-Icon. So if the Leader is the Tank i only see the Leader Icon and know he is also the Tank. ... Hope you understand what i mean ^^

Well the Problem is if I join a rnd dungeon this Bonquet doesn't work always properly. Sometimes other party member are flaged as tanks - but they ain't (the icon is class colored, so it's the tank flag not the leader flag).


Only Pyractos should be Flagged ... not Bej or Jorno
