Aptechka is a raid frames addon.

Addon is customized with lua config file
You can place your configuration changes into AptechkaUserConfig/userconfig.lua to avoid overwriting them when updating. Reference config - Aptechka/config.lua.
There's still some basic options available ingame from /apt console command. like positioning.

What is UserConfig?
It's a separate addon that contains your personal settings.
Values from UserConfig replace default settings. That way you can safely update core module without losing your changes.
Or you can have 2 UserConfig modules.
It is also possible to add new skins as plugins, and switch between them depending on character class.

Lua knowledge is required?
Probably not, copy-pasting and changing values should be enough for most things.
But editor with Lua syntax highlighting will help you (SublimeText, SciTE, Notepad++). If you want to make your own skin you better be familiar with wow widget api.

What is priority?
When two or more actions assigned to the same spot are active, the one with higher priority is displayed.
Weakened soul is a good example. You won't see WS until PWS is still active.

What is "heal trace"?
That's when you want to know who exactly was healed by your Circle of Healing, Chain Heal, etc in the form of blinking indicator.

How to add new zones and spells for debuff loader?
Instances are identified by map id (assuming they have their own map).
To find out current zone map id type: /dump GetCurrentMapAreaID()
Map IDs are tied to instance name and instance name is tied to function that is pushing boss spells into your current spell set. More info inside userconfig file

What's that combat filtering option for?
Disabled until better days.
In 4.2 all autorefreshing spells (SWP-MF, Corruption-Haunt, Lifebloom, Renew-Chakra, etc) stopped generating SPELL_AURA_REFRESH event for combat log. So basically this feature is ruined until Blizzard fix this.
useCombatLogFiltering provides a huge perfomance boost over default behavior, which would be to listen only to UNIT_AURA event.
UNIT_AURA doesn't tell what exactly changed and every time addon had to scan current buffs/debuffs,
In raid combat unit_aura sometimes fired up to 8 times per second for each member with all the stacking trinkets and procs.
useCombatLogFiltering option moves this process mainly to combat log, where we can see what spell was updated.
Only if it's in our spell set it will update buff data for this unit.
The drawback is that it only works in combat log range, but it's big enough, and there's a fallback on throttled unit_aura (every 5s) for out of range units.
On lich king there was an issue, and maybe it's still present, that necrotic plague removal event didn't appear in combat log
and that caused glitches with boss debuff indicator. But that's a rare blizzard side bug.
Dispel idicators still work from unit_aura, so you'll see plague regardless as disease if you can dispel it.

How to change skin layout from config?
So to customize frame elements, you'll have to create a custom skin, inherit default skin stuff and then add to/change it. Easy...

Anyone know how I can make it so I have a small dot in the upper left corner when mark of the wild is _not_ on, and have the dot not be there when it is? Basically just reverse the way it works now.

Just wanted to say that I've been using Injector since the initial release and I love all the work and additions you've put into it.

It really makes minimal configuration so nice and easy to do, I just love this addon!

Hi, I was just wondering what the function for "CombatLogFiltering" actually is, and what the side effect to disabling it is. I just saw it in the config file and was curious since I already disable and delete the healcomm and quickhealth libraries and this option is right beside it.

this option is actually awesome because it lowers cpu usage so much. (injector becomes lower than skada for me)
default way of checking buffs is UNIT_AURA, and it is called 4-8 times per second for each raid member (like trinket refresh, raidwide short buffs) in combat and you can't tell if the spell you need was updated or not, so you have to check every time.
with that option combat log is used instead for units in it's range and unit_aura every 5 seconds for OOR units. so that way indicators will be updated only when one of configured spells is applied or faded

so far i haven't noticed problems with it, only that it's vulnerable to global combat log bug when it just stops working for any addon until you restart wow

There's something fishy with incoming heals. It shows for a very short period and then it disappears.

Part from that, this addon is 10/10!

I fiddled a little around and now I know why I did't see any debuffs:

If you enter a raidinstance after another (I've been to ICC after TotC) then Injector won't recognize this.
If you know it, you can use /inj load Icecrown Citadel for instance and everything is fine.

So I will no longer bother you with my shortcommings. Big thanks for this great mod.

Still getting some wonkiness when entering an instance and the groups frames all display "Unknown". Usually a /reload and waiting a few seconds takes care of the frame display but at that point all buffing and spell info stops working. Incoming heals still works and the core portions of the frame (health, mana, name, agro) but any custom spell watching stops working.

I think that's the "global combat log bug" where any addon that relies on the combat log for info will break (recount, scrolling combat text, etc.). If it is, restarting the WoW client will fix it.

I had awful trouble adding Necrotic Plague at Lichking ((( May be some1 could help me adding it by name, cause i ve alrady added all 8 spell IDs given by wowhead and still miss some of the plagues.

to add spell directly by name that would be ' name = "Мертвящая чума" ' instead of id. (in utf8 for ru)
anyway, necrotic plague name is there via id.

How players added/removed from group is controlled by blizzard SecureGroupHeader, and seems like when a new player joins UnitName and UnitGUID is not yet returning updated values for new unit.
May be your server is lagging horribly. I've seen white buttons with Unknown names a few times, but it's getting normal in a couple of seconds.

If you enter a raidinstance after another (I've been to ICC after TotC) then Injector won't recognize this.
Are you using any map related addons? like mapster, cartographer

Changed your Code from PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD to ZONE_CHANGED_NEW_AREA and everything is fine. It's 1:1 from DXE

The subroutine is called now more often but this should have no impact to the systemperformance...

Edit: Had to clone your coed to suit both events...
