This project has merged with DHUD4 where I am continuing to work on textures with Arcanefoam.



This is Arcanefoam's DHUD3 which originated from Drathal's Hud. I always loved HUDs, but hate the bars. Back in TBC I merged Phaytal's bars with DHUD, and now I've done the same type of thing for Arcane's.

All I've done here is replace the vanilla bars with my own bars as well as the icons for "Combo/Stack/Rune" Points (Rogue, Druid, Warrior, and DK <3).

This addon is maintained regularly on wowace and I really love it. My fan updates will mirror Arcane's versions after I test them in-game, as well as any graphics tweaks of my own.

Profile Installation (Optional for layout in the pics)

Drag and drop the DHUD3.lua into your general Saved Variables (World of Warcraft \WTF \Account \YOURACCOUNTNAME \SavedVariables).

This "Default" profile has many features disabled but they can easily be re-enabled (ie borders, click through bars, auras, target and targetoftarget name, combat icon, resting icon, etc..). The outer bars are set to track threat.

Hi,

What I get on cata beta server, are just grey bars that dont move or anything.

Only combo points and some auras are working atm... nothing else.

I also tryed Arcane's last version and saw no improvement.

I'm realy sad 'cause I love this HUD, and I'm forced to use ICEHUD which I realy dislike.


I hope you get things right soon ^^

Yes same here on live, as soon as servers came up I placed a notice on the frontpage and emailed Arcanefoam. It's either a library or coding issue, which is Arcane's forte.

v1011 sees revisions to the three bars and borders (the curvature and spacing of the bars as well as recoloring of the borders). The optional saved variable with the "renaitreui" profile is included ..enjoy.

I'm glad you enjoy it but this is simply a skinned version of Arcanefoam's addon. For his next version, these skins have been worked into it as an option, but as far as Cat testing goes, I think the main addon authors are there, but not the plugin authors like myself, yet.

I have been using your HUD for quite a while and I am a big fan.

Have you had an opportunity to use it in beta?

With all of the changes coming in Cataclysm it is my hope that your work will continue.

v8.16 beta is pending approval. I've added a slight gloss effect to Rogue's combo points and reduced some of the pixelation.

That may have just been a loading issue it hasn't been overlapping anymore.

Edit~ I did find the non-click through spot too. The text is not click through either.

Scale and position for DK runes are presently configurable in DHUD3 via abilities dropdown, the overlap might be with my Circle skin which I'll look into.

Coding issues are best handled by ArcaneFoam, and it looks like the next version with my Tribal bars will be included in his update to DHUD3 when we are finished testing.

I"ve been collaborating with ArcaneFoam on the next version of his DHUD3 which may include the customizations I've included here. Users keep your eyes open for that, and I'll post any news here.
