OrkoUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 8.0
by: Orko [More]

I started making this addon during Wrath of the Lich King. It has changed a little bit and now, I added
more buttons to the action bars. I have been using this UI for a long time and always has been a little project
of mine. Little shout out to my guild on Dalaran-US <Shattered Requiem> For the horde! - Khmira

Installation:

1. Unzip OrkoUI to your desktop.
2. Back-up your current Interface and WTF folders in your World of Warcraft folder.
3. Copy the Interface and WTF folders from the OrkoUI folder into your World of Warcraft folder.
4. Make sure you have "Load Out-of-Date AddOns" checked and log into your character.
5. Once you log in you will see a dialog box near the top of the screen asking to install OrkoUI. Click Yes for the one time installation of the UI.
6. Ignore the ElvUI Installation window below it.
7. Repeat Step 5 for all characters you have.

Required Addons:

You must download ElvUI - Here
Unzip and install ElvUI and ElvUI config folders into your World of Warcraft Addons folder
All Credit to Elv and his team for this addon! They also have other great additional addons
by the community there as well. Worth checking out.

Not sure if you know how to modify the kgpanel layout but if you can make it work for your resolution, I would gladly post an optional download for it. I can not do it cause I can not use that resolution. I can try but not making any promises

Edit: Totally forgot a cooldown addon. Going to add that and RatingBuster next.

First off love the UI.

But I don't like the bag mod. I'd rather use arkinventory. I like being able to say what goes where with ease.

Anyway I have removed mr. plow and bagon. But I can not seem to find the addon that controls the rest of the bag inorder to get my arkinventory to work.

I've also reset the ui to match a 1600x900 with ease!!
And I've added omni cooldown.

Thank you for this ui. It looks great and has very little memory usage. And will be easy for me to configure for my multi box team!!
Its simple but yet has major features. Pretty much what I've been looking for for a LONG! time coming.

Oh in time will you be adding color configurations for kgpanels?
I would love to be able to set up different colors for different classes. And I don't have the programs to edit the panels.

Example.
Druid- Orange
Mage- Pale blue.
Things like that.

Again thank you. Your hard work is not going unnoticed from me! Gonna pass this one on to the rest of the family!!

Thanks for your thoughts and ideas. I will play around with Arkinventory and see what I can do. I personally didnt like it when it first came out. The bag mod included here is called Combuctor. It has a few other dependencies along with it but all should be called Combuctor XXXXX ....

Glad that its working on your resolution! Thats great to hear. I would have made it fit more but my monitor only goes to 1440x900...

Also was thinking about releasing different color panels as well. I dont really wanna do Black cause then it would be too close to Onslaught UI and his UI is awesome for that. I will make some off color ones.

Sure, let me know what addons you would like to see in there and Ill do my best to try them and use them.

Alos that bar probably is Autobar... You need to type /autobar config
Then click the last Tab up top that says Bars. Find the one that says Your Class Name ( For you will say Hunter) Then on the right of the window uncheck the enable button. Finish up with /reloadui and that should do it

lol....... this is why I gave credit to Onslaught in the compilation description.

This is a little UI that I modeled after Onslaught UI... I arranged some panels and such the way I like it. This has been built from scratch and nothing was imported from Onslaught. I just liked the layout!

Onslaught was not updated for 3.2 and I made this one from the ground up to look like Onslaught.. I didnt claim it to be my work or original thanks

If WoWinterface or Venchie wants me to shut it down I will. Doesnt bother me any cause it is a lot of work that I dont need to do, just thought I would try and help out. Plus there are somethings in here that are not in Onslaught.

While others have stolen elements of Onslaught without credit in the past, this was not the case here. This was clearly labeled from the start as an updated tribute to Onslaught, and doesn't even re-use the extensive kgPanel artwork or button skins - just the layout and some addon choices.

I strongly doubt that Veniche will complain - he/she has been MIA for a few months now, and upon return (?) planned a complete overhaul of Onslaught anyway. For those that don't want to move to Onslaught 2.0, but desire the Onlslaught 1.x look a maintained version such as this is more than welcome. The addition of color themes and the reduced reliance of kgPanel art will make it easier to self-maintain for those daunted by Onslaught and/or if OrkoUI becomes unmaintained.
