Tested Environments
WOW 5.2.0 with nUI+ 5.07.29

nUI by default does not display the grid frame regardless of the game settings to display buttons always. Possibly an oversight but just as likely an intended function.

However, with this addon you are able to ask nUI to permanently display or not display the gridlines on the bars as you require.

When the addon is first installed it may not reflect the interface options immediately. Either check the option and reload/relog or just wait for your next log in session.

Simply set the Always Show Action Bars option in the Interface->Action Bars options page and it will react accordingly with the buttons nUI sets up.

At the same time I will be redesigning the code for reusability and to utilise the new 3.3 change allowing data to flow easily between files within the same addon. That said, this addon being small, was the perfect one to start with so once I am happy with it and its setup I will be posting an update. Yeah, I used lunarsphere for a while but it seemed too much for me and in fact I don't even use crylosis now although that was in error rofl. I keep looking for my buff buttons and forgot they were on the cryo buttons before rofl. So at the moment its open book/drag out buttons or click on buttons. I don't play my mage that often now seeing as she is only naxx geared and not raidable yet rofl. My shammy doesn't have buffs and my priest only has 3 buffs to worry about so no biggie.

I even copied and pasted the command to ensure there were no misspellings, it still didn't work. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks!

Corrected and tested and seem to work fine.
