Konfer (Suicide Kings Edition) implements the Suicide Kings loot distribution system. This mod is under active development so comments, good or bad, are welcome. I especially want to hear from you if you find any problems so that I can fix them ASAP. The official home for KSK is http://kahluamod.com/ksk. Also if you are able to translate KonferSK into other languages I would love to hear from you.

Re: XSLT stylesheet for XML export string
Was this useful to anyone? Took me a while to figure out that weird XSLT crap.

XSLT stylesheet for XML export string
If you want to use the XML export feature, I have created an XSLT stylesheet you may want to use and modify for your website. For an example of how it renders the lists, see http://kahluamod.com/ksk/xml/ksk.xml. The actual stylesheet can be found in teh XSLT directory from release 96 onwards. There is one for the list position export and one for the loot history export.
Since the XML export from the mod does not add a full XML header, you need to add one, with the correct encoding, and a pointer to whatever you call your stylesheet. Using the example link above, use your browser's "view source" ability to see the two lines I added at the top, or you can cut and paste these (as long as you use the stylesheet name ksk.xslt): Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="ksk.xslt"?>

Guild Rank Priorities Each master looter needs to enable this in their own loot config options (/ksk config) as the values for this are not synced or shared (therefore great care should be taken to ensure that all possible master looters in your guild set the same priorities, else users will get confused). If enabled, you can press the "Edit" button next to the option to open the guild rank priorities editor. This will display a list of all of the guild ranks and allow you to input a rank priority in the range 1 to 10, where the lowest number is the highest priority (priority 1 is higher than priority 2). When distributing loot, if two users bid on an item and one user has a higher rank priority than the other, they will win the bid, regardless of their position on the list being rolled on. The rationale is that active raiders should always be able to win loot over casual members, regardless of relative positions on the list. If you have PUG members in a guild run, they will be assigned the lowest guild rank, which presumably also has the lowest priority. For PUG configs this option is completely ignored and the list positions are the only criteria for determining the winning bids. |

Our general policy on PUGS is that they "bid" if they want an item, since they aren't ever advanced up the list once they show interest all who bid, /roll 100... if the pug wins, they win. If not, the suicide kings goes on as normal. |

When a player is denied the right to bid can the error be echo'd to the master looters screen?
I had 3 pugs in my group last night and for 3 bosses they just said "It denied my bid."... took me forever to figure out they weren't in the guild and we were set to guild mode. |

Extremely odd. Can you please email me your savedvariables\KKonfersk.lua file to cruciformer at gmail dot com? Many thanks. Had several guildies upgrade with no error, I wonder what went wrong with yours.
1. Are you the config owner or an admin? 2. Broadcasts are only for non-admins. Admins sync. Anyway please send that file and any other info on how to reproduce that you can. Thanks! |
