Tidy Plates: Threat Plates - Version 8.5

About:
Tidy Plates: Threat Plates (TPTP for short) is a theme for use with Tidy Plates with patch 5.0.4 or later WoW client. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.
Features:
  • SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
  • Ace3 profiling.
  • Low memory footprint.
  • Threat system management.
  • Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
  • Customizable widgets.
  • Customizable totem nameplates.
  • Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.
Commands:
  • /tptp - Displays options.
  • /tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
  • /tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
  • /tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
  • /tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
  • /tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.
Additional Information:
A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. If you have any questions about options and what they do, feel free to leave a comment or PM me here for more information.

Off-Tank threat monitoring

Is there a way to use threat plates to monitor the off-tanks aggro so im not constantly taunting off him? I see an option within tidy plates for such a thing but it does not seem to transfer over to threat plates at all? I currently have 6.008 from the curse client.

Since you have threat disabled for non-combat units, they return to the normal neutral scale as though you were out of combat. To lower their scale you'd have to go to the options available at the 'Nameplate Settings' > 'Scale' > 'Neutral'.

If these settings don't alter the size of the nameplates, please let me know.

How do I reduce their size to normal? I know I can lower the Low Threat value from 125% -> 100%, but I want to keep it at 125% for NPCs I'm in combat with. It's just mobs that I'm NOT in combat with and obviously don't have agro with that I want their bars to be normal 100% size. Is this possible? Here are my settings:

Also if you look at my settings you see "Ignore Non-Combat Threat" is checked. I would think this means that non-combat NPCs threat is ignored, in which case their bars should be 100%, not 125%.... Is this a bug?

You're talking about the spell name right?

Oh its only threat plates that won't work, all other themes do.
Try these following steps:
--[[Please delete this following section if all parts have been completed and your issue persists]]--
--[[Start]]--
1. I have updated to the latest version of the Tidy Plates core available here: http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/tidy-plates/files/
2. I have updated to the latest version of Tidy Plates: Threat Plates available here: http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/tid...-plates/files/
3. I have disabled all other addons other than Threat Plates and its necessary components.
4. My issues still persist after steps 1-3.
--[[End]]-

The simple thing to do first is double check that you have your Tidy Plates themes set to Threat Plates.
sure, i did set the correct theme. anyway i found the problem. i had to disable customized colors for the hp bars in the threat plates options before the color by threat thing works.

This is a tidy plates issue. There is a conflict between the two add-ons. I'd urge you to submit a ticket on VialCooldowns to help get that authors attention.

There is nothing I can do about that conflict.
