As far as I know it already does that. I don't think I understand your request.

Well as you say on the description ''The "Detailed loot information" option in the Display section of the Blizzard Interface Options must be enabled in order for this addon to work.'' when you have this option disable it only shows the roll of the winner in chat, but with this disable the addon doesn't work so I would very much like to see an option on the addon that only shows the roll of the winner in chat.

Why are the files encrypted? Just curious but the localization and lib (plus sub ace dirs) are all marked as excrypted when I go to extract them.

I just downloaded the latest version off this site on my work computer, which has never even seen Warcraft, and files are not encrypted. I even checked with notepad. I used both 7zip and the windows extractor to test this so I think it may be something on your end.

The addon already behaves like this. If you turn on filter roll messages it will only show a line saying "xxx won item" and another line saying "xxx receives item".

If this is not what you are experiencing then make sure that filter loot messages is turned on in the needygreedy general configuration tab. If you still have problems then I'm going to need screenshots of the output and the configuration settings to try and debug it.

Two things:
1. Are you using an enUS client, and if not which one are you using?
2. Could you try disabling all mods except NG and see if the error still occurs?

I'm using enGB. After some research about this error i found out that this happens on quite a lot of addons, it seems to have something to do with changes blizzard made regarding chat colors. Anyway i reseted all the chat settings to default and now it's working perfectly.

I just have one thing that i would like to see fixed regarding Cirk's Lootcounter addon that i'm using, it appears it only works when you disabel the filter loot messages on NeedyGreedy config I would very much like to keep the Lootcounter runing while the filter loot messages are enable.

Works perfect now! Just one thing is it possible to filter the loot messages blizzard-style allowing us to see the winner (like the addon already does so) but also able to see what kind of roll the winner did and how much he rolled for, also would be great if the addon could highlight (different color maybe) when we are the winner of a roll.

Would this color change be to the chat text message or the gui?
