Nib mentioned some time ago (because this problem has been with RealUI for a very long time) that raid frame taint is exceptionally difficult to avoid, any code that so much as glances in the general direction of anything having to do with the raid frames can cause it. RealUI is also not the only UI compilation that has this issue, I believe.

In fact I wonder if it would help to bring the issue to attention on the official forums.

DK Diseases

First of all, I can't thank you enough for maintaining this UI pack. It's absolutely fantastic!

I am, however, having issues with diseases (Blood Plague and Frost Fever) tracking on my Death Knight since updating to the most recent (r1) version. Is anyone else having this issue? Or can anyone point out what the problem may be?

CompactRaidFrame taint is something Nib and I have spent countless hours tracking down in the past. It's a nasty, nasty thing to try and find the true cause. The only way to narrow it down is to disable all addons, and re-add them one-by-one until you start getting the error.

The first one you posted is a new one to me. I haven't seen ArkInventory cause taint before... however, as you'll notice in the error, it also references FrameMover, which is a module Nib wrote. ArkInventory is likely NOT the cause of the taint but rather something else further along in the chain.

Honestly, there really isn't much that can be done here without a detailed analysis.

Edit: Even if you follow my guidelines for narrowing down the culprit, you may still not have found the cause. Just because enabling one addon got the taint to return, doesn't mean that addon alone is the culprit. It could just as well be a combination of that addon plus some other addon you've already enabled.

Like I said, nasty stuff.
This is very sad I keep getting error everytime I died in game and the only way to prevent the errors is to disable nibRealUI. It somehow conflict with all other addons and I can't find a way to fix it other than to disable nibRealUI. Hope someone with some insight can help me on this, I really really like RealUI and it's a shame I can't use it without all the errors.

Hey I've been having an issue for ages now, when mousing over displayed buffs either on the unitframes or in the upper right corner it displays my unitframe tooltip. You know, player name and all that jazz, and not the buff tooltip. Sometimes wiggling the mouse over the buffs will force the buff tooltips to work properly, sometimes not. Anybody know how to fix this?

I can see the new Anticipation talent showing up with the combo points. Where are they? And hows it showing up inside the addon.

Also the leeching poison is not getting recognized right and still showing that I don't have a utility poison on.

How to Scale UI?

Hey, I love this UI, but unfortunately I run with a resolution of 2560x1440, and everything is way too small to read or see properly such as my character frame, minimap, RealUI options at the bottom, etc.

Is there hopefully a way to scale up everything? Because the UI Scale option on the WoW options is not there anymore after installing RealUI.

Also, my chat settings (font resizing and such) do not save between reloads/sessions.

Save your WTF folder to another directory. After installing RealUI, go into your saved WTF folder and copy the .lua and .lua.bak files for those addons into your current WTF folder.

Make sure you grab per-character files from their individual folders if any of those addons use per-character settings.
Thanks Joypunk! It worked smoothly this time! I've always had trouble pulling the right .lau files. i am so happy right now! thank you thank you!!!!!!!

This question may have been asked already but I couldn't seem to find what I'm looking for so I apologize in advance. Up until the new release a couple days ago, my short buffs/DoTs we're tracked on nibIceHud (For example in my case, Serpent Sting on my hunter and Inquisition on paladin.), and since the release they no longer appear. All of the specific spell modules in IceHud appear enabled and I'm just wondering how I could get them back? Thanks!
