See on each new character I create, I have to reset my settings of not showing names on heads at all... because it doesn't carry over. That's basically what I'm trying to say. I would like for it to carry over, I have no idea what addon is causing it. If I use no addons at all, it does carry over. That's why it seems non-symmetric. I just think it would be better if it carried over. But if it doesn't get fixed, I'll just keep resetting it... even though it's a waste of time. It doesn't carry over any settings I set up. I use the same settings for all characters.
nibRealUI sets a bunch of default UI variables every time it installs itself for a new character. Only way of changing them is to modify a nibRealUI file.

Open up AddOns\nibRealUI\Core\Settings.lua in notepad, and search for -- Names

Under there should be a bunch of CVars getting set to either a 1 (enabled) or 0 (disabled). Modify at will.

PS: I also use SSPVP3, and I think it'd be a great lightweight addon for BG information to add onto RealUI. Just provides BG info inside the BG's. I'm not sure if there are better addons, but this one would be good to provide BG info with a RealUI theme

Also, I was wondering how to access the "keys" in ArkInventory, like keys to open locks and chests and stuff.

leatrixplus is amazing too.

Oh, and which buff area does it appear in? In the short-term player buffs at the left of the Player frame?
Yes that sums it up nicely.

It appears in the top right hand quarter of the screen, I don't see it at all on the left hand side of the player frame.

It does recognise the de-buff/buff and counts down once I step out but while I am in the beam it just constantly resets to zero, any ideas?

Thanks,

How about OPie and Keybind?

I use them with RealUI now, and they're awesome. Perfect for using your mounts, or trinkets etc and re-stacking your potions so they don't clutter your bag space.

Also note that Leatrix Gfx, isn't even on WoWInterface anymore, I cannot find it anywhere. But I know it exists, I use to use it.

I also recommend Leatrix Latency Fix but it's not really an addon. It's a script you double click, and it puts it in your registry. It opens your ports to WoW and anything related to WoW, so you can have a better latency in WoW, and less lag. So you can't really incorporate that into RealUI, but I'd recommend it to the users. It's safe too, so don't worry.

This is my AddOn List:

1) AddOn Control Panel (ACP)
2) AutoRepair (can't remember if it comes with RealUI or not)
3) EquipCompare
4) IHasNoScope (I got it from Roth UI - Can't find anywhere else)
5) kRestack
6) Leatrix Plus
7) Leatrix Text
8) Misspelled
9) Modern Warcraft
10) OPie
11) WIM with the WIM_FlatPanel skin (Matches RealUI)

That's the complete AddOn List that I have added after RealUI
Note: Again, not really sure about AutoRepair, I don't know if it came with RealUI or not. I just can't remember.
