Update thread - Some additional information about this update is available on the forums.




Installation / Updates

You won't need to rename any folders.
Installation is a simple 1-click install process.

New Installation / Minor (8.#) Update Procedure:
Step 1: Move your current WTF and Interface folders to a backup folder.

If you are updating, moving the WTF folder is not needed.

Step 2: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Visit the Change Log to find out what has changed.

Revision (r#) Update Procedure:
Step 1: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Make sure to overwrite all existing files and folders.
You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Visit the Change Log to find out which addons have been modified.

Note: If you are playing in an asian region or regularly interact with players who use asian glyphs, go to the "Other Files" page and download the files most applicable to your situation.

Mac or PC, both behave the same when it comes to addons

Do the original instructions work?:
  1. Type: /dxe
  2. Type: /dxe config
  3. Select "Profiles" from the list
  4. Drop down "Existing Profiles" and select "RealUI"

If not, you may need to replace the DXE.lua file in your "\WTF\Account\YourAccountName\SavedVariables\" folder with the one from the download and try again.

I cannot get Dxe to actually get the RealUI profile, I was wondering how I could fix this? If it matters, I am running a Mac

UF reversal

I have been looking all over and I cant figure out how to make the arrows anchor for max HP on the outside (left for the player, right for the target) and move inward as either loses health.

I found the anchors, but I also don't see where you set the max. So for example you have the energy bar stopping short of the end, I am not sure what value I need to adjust to make it come to rest on the other side.

Does it display other info correctly (ie health)? Did another look over my Pitbull text code, but it all seems like it should be compatible.

minimap

i just downloaded the latest ui is anyone still having the minimap problem showing up if i go in manually and press position it sets itself then stuffs up again
and does anyone know how to get rid that stupid party poker poping up all the time youd think the authorities would have put a stop too them by now
