New Installation / Revision Update

You won't need to rename any folders.
Installation is a simple 1-click install process.

New Installation Procedure:

Step 1: Move your current WTF and Interface folders to a backup folder.

Step 2: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Revision (r#) Update Procedure:

Step 1: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Note 1: Make sure to overwrite all existing files and folders.
Note 2: You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Note 3: Visit the Change Log to find out which addons have been modified.

FAQ

Q: How do I change a particular setting in the UI?
A: A lot of UI elements are created via RealUI. To access these options, go to the Game Menu button (bottom left of screen) and click Options.
Other settings can be adjusted through individual AddOns options, usually found in the Interface options > AddOns tab.

Q: Action Bars / Grid / another addon keeps on resetting it's position after I move it, what's up?
A: The HuD Config utility found on the Game Menu button (bottom left of screen) allows you to reposition a lot of the UI elements.
To manually position an AddOn, go to the Game Menu button, click AddOn Control, then untick Pos on the AddOn you're trying to move.

Q: Nameplate font size keeps resetting after I change it, what's up?
A: Go to the Game Menu button (bottom left of screen), click AddOn Control, then untick Style on KuiNameplates.

How very odd. PitBull is the only thing that controls their positions, and I had someone mention something similar before too. I've seen PitBull have a few bugs as of late, I'd first try updating PitBull and see what happens.

I did not realize that my RealUI version was that far behind.

Would it be better for me to just redo it with the 0.3.0 setup instead of tweaking individual features?

Naughty, trying to upgrade from 0.2.0 via a 0.3.0 patch, hehe.

You'll have to go into "/kgPanels config" and delete all the panels associated with the Minimap. They should be called things like "MapInfo_" and "Minimap_".

This is the problem I am having. When I got /sldt and disable I only disable the second part of the text the main part does not go away.

Hmm, didn't try to update 0.2.0 with the patch, did ya?

If old text is still there, it can be disabled through the "/sldt" configuration window.

Actually in the time it took me to post that and look over something I realized that I could just turn off the carbonite mini world map and use your minimap.

I think that is less of a headache that way. However when I updated RealUI with the patch, my old minimap text (location, coords, mail, tracker) remain while the new map thing is still there.

I want to clear out the old info and keep your new map info. I like it far better than the pminimap you had before.
