Chatter being replaced with PhanxChat - be sure to delete the Chatter folder when updating RealUI

Installation / Updates

You won't need to rename any folders.
Installation is a simple 1-click install process.

New Installation / Minor (8.#) Update Procedure:
Step 1: Move your current WTF and Interface folders to a backup folder.

If you are updating, moving the WTF folder is not needed.

Step 2: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Visit the Change Log to find out what has changed.

Revision (r#) Update Procedure:
Step 1: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Make sure to overwrite all existing files and folders.

Many "under the hood" updates for Warlords of Draenor.
DBM bar positions are now controled by RealUI. (You can go to /real -> Settings -> Addon Control to disable this.)
UI scale options are now accessable from the Blizz video options.
You can now use /cpuProfiling to see RealUI's current CPU usage.

AddOns
cargBags_Nivaya now supports the new Reagent Bank.
Add support for 20 and 30 person layouts for flex raids.

Unit Frames
Added Arena Frames (Limited testing)
Add totem bar under player frame

Modules
The Rare notifier will now only play a sound if at least 20 seconds has past.
The World Boss tracker will now only list defeated bosses.
Honor and Conquest are no longer explisitly listed in the currency tracker.
AddonListAdv enhances the new AddonList with saveable addon profiles that you can easily swap between.
The Stat Display has been update for the new stats, and will now only list relevant stats for your class. (e.g. A priest won't see Bonus Armor.)

So good, and yet so sad, to see you back Nib... hoping you get to feel better and at the same time decide to keep up with maintenance of this most excellent UI

I had returned to a self built, more traditional IceHud setup but will happily scrap that to return to RealUI again. Nothing else quite compares Bit broke this month but hope to donate next payday, you deserve some incentive.

Off topic: What are your thoughts on the version of Papyrus that Bethesda plan to release with the Skyrim CK? As much 'fun' as Lua?

It isn't, no. They're squeezed in their pretty tight. If your previous UI had those numbers fairly large or larger, it may take a bit to get used to the different visual representation of hp/mana in RealUI.

I understand about the HUD, and it grows on me bit by bit. My dot uptime is a little better for it haha. Really the only reason i asked is because no other UI seems to have the same feel as this one. This has a charm to it, while others seem a bit.......overly cheesy or HEY IM BLUE NEON AND IM IN YOUR FACE!!!!!!!! Im sure ill get used to it soon enough though ^_^

Ello Nib!

I have a few questions and just some general stuff id like to put into comment form.

First i'd like to say i love the UI, it has alot of things i love about other UIs but it does it in a better way for the most part. Especially the look, idk how to describe it other than it looks like an old super nintendo space shooter type of thing haha.

My first question is how can i adjust my bars? Id like them lower, but i suspect that i may need to change the Lua(which i've never ventured into haha) Also i wanted to add a new masque skin to then to make them a bit shiny, but if i do that it smooshes the buttons together =X

My second question: Have you ever considered an alternate version with no HUD, and instead having cast and debuffs and such below action bars or just below character plates? A lot of people aren't fond of HUD addons, and i have to admit im not a big fan myself (But i can definitely deal with it with such an awesome looking UI!). This could probably be easily achieved on my own, but im really wondering because you would probably make it look much sleeker and match better than me haha. I dont know much about coding and UI building so im not sure if this is like an off the wall suggestion or not =3

i mostly just PvP (rbg/arenas) and i'd love to see some screenies of it in action.

It did not affect gameplay though. So Iím fine with it (and besides, itís hidden ).

That's a general taint issue. Blizzard's raid frames are practically impossible to not taint, and they can't be disabled, so can't do much about it.

It should really only be the nibRealUI addon that's screwy, so I'd try replacing that. Nothing else should interfere with the options inside nibRealUI to that extent.

hm.. i've added GridStatusHots and GridIndicatorCornerText... and in nibRealUI/Modules/GridLayout.lua, changed horizontal groups to true on lines 641, 647, 663, and 669 (because i had no checkboxes)... also changed width values near those lines to 92... maybe i'm supposed to change something else too?

i'd rather not do a fresh install, can i get away with just replacing one (or just a few) files somewhere? if so, which ones would i replace?

I took money from my mail and didn't hover over the gold before.
