Clean installation required!
Move your old Interface and WTF folders to a Backup folder before installing.


Beta Note:

RealUI 8 is currently in Beta.
It works, however, some features are still under construction and it needs user testing before any potential bugs can be ironed out.
Only download if you're willing to use a potentially buggy, incomplete UI.




You won't need to rename any folders.
Installation is a simple 1-click install process.

New Installation Procedure:
Step 1: Move your current WTF and Interface folders to a backup folder.
Step 2: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Revision (r#) Update Procedure:
Step 1: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Make sure to overwrite all existing files and folders.
You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Visit the Change Log to find out which addons have been modified.

To change text location or to reverse the direction of the bars: /realui > Advanced > Advanced Settings > HuD > Cast Bars

Adjust how many bars to display at the Center and on the Bottom of the screen
Adjust location of Mouse-Over action bars
Adjust padding and number of buttons for all action bars

it's hidden if you're at full durability it should pop up again on the info line once your durability drops

I dunno if I'm just missing something but I can't seem to find the Durability on the info line. I've gone in to the RealUI options and set and reset the option and reloaded but it doesn't seem to be showing up. Anyone have any insight?

If you hover over the minimap a few button will appear at the top left of it.

Click on the C (Config). Go to the Size/Postion Tab. In this tab there will be the X and Y Offset values. Increase the value of the X Offset in pixels that you would like it to move it across your screen.
I see no C on the top left =( there must be a back slash comand
Are you running the most recent version of RealUI? If there C isn't there you can access it via Interface > Addons and then simply find nibMinimap on the list and change the settings in there.

for size of the icons in the action bar, you could try /bar and fiddle with settings in there. (i'm not sure if there's an easier way to do this since you would have to do it individually for all the bars you want to change.)

as for target's cast bar, it's part of icehud. it should be showing up as a curved bar just left of the target frame... for reference, look at the 3rd screenshot nib has posted, the target is casting flame buffet.

alternatively, i believe nib's nameplates also show cast bars for your target.

Love the ui not a bunch of garbage!

I'm as blind as a bat, and i know this is probably a stupid question. Is there a way to increase the size (scale up) of the icons in the action bar. Also how do i get the targets cast bar to display for interupts.

Everytime I set my party layout to By Group 5 (no pet), it changes it back to pets at each reload... How do I fix this?

I realized that the problem has an other source. If you get money by selling, or from mail it doesn't count. Except when you view the currency window and then you to your transactions. So it seems that "the starting variables" have no value until you open the currency window.

i was just wondering how would i move my minmap to a different spot pls ?
I run 3 x 23 inch screens in eyefinity and use a mod called gatherer . so im watching my main screen, and my little minmap is in the top left corner of the left screen . i just about have to turn my head LOL. if i could put the minmap in the top right side of the left screen i think it would help.
any advice would be great . thx u vary much

Heh right after I posted I figured it out. ouf_realui + ouf folders, and edit the cfg.lua file. Easy peasy =)

I absolutely love the way the unit frame is set up, but don't care much for the rest of the package. I'm coming from an extremely lightweight set up, and I've seen drastic ping and memory load increases after downloading and correctly installing and configuring Real UI.

Is there any way I can just use the unit frames, without the extra button skinning and such? And if so, How can I modify the scale and position of the unit frames (such as target and player)?
