Update thread - Some additional information about this update is available on the forums.




Installation / Updates

You won't need to rename any folders.
Installation is a simple 1-click install process.

New Installation / Minor (8.#) Update Procedure:
Step 1: Move your current WTF and Interface folders to a backup folder.

If you are updating, moving the WTF folder is not needed.

Step 2: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Visit the Change Log to find out what has changed.

Revision (r#) Update Procedure:
Step 1: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Make sure to overwrite all existing files and folders.
You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Visit the Change Log to find out which addons have been modified.

Note: If you are playing in an asian region or regularly interact with players who use asian glyphs, go to the "Other Files" page and download the files most applicable to your situation.

Hey Nib. How do I remove the number next to the focus frame? I think it has something to do with the pitch, but I'd like to remove it, how?

Question:

Is there any way we could make the frames that usually hide when they're not needed, fade away instead of just POP and they're gone and back again? It would just flow better that way. I thought that would be a good idea. Also do you know how I could put some semi-transparent art behind the actionbars? I want to do that... because it's just odd that they have nothing behind them for me. After a while I just had to have some kind of art showing. I am an artist, heh...

I love the UI still though... I just wanna modify it if you don't mind.

I wanna make it more personalized. Like I did with SpartanUI for so many years.

As for fading, not really. Anything to do with your Target has to disappear immediately upon losing your Target, and anything else would require modification of the addon, which should be avoided.

For extra artwork, you can install kgPanels and do pretty much anything with it.

Is there away to set SBF to show all debuffs on a target, with stacking debuffs on the bottom; growing upwards?

Having an issue tanking 3rd boss of BRC; I have to keep turning SBF and Pitbull off for him. {Or just a filter I can add to add that debuff into the SBF allow list?)

How can I get original Blizzard raid frames on in the raid? I did disable Grid, but for some reason I can't make blizzard raid frames work in the raid - they do appear when I'm in the party, but not in the raid. And can't see that raid side panel neither.

Hmm, is the debuff called Superheated something? Try this:
  1. /sbf options
  2. Current Frame = TargetDebuffs
  3. Filters tab
  4. Add filter - n~superheated

Hmm, default keybind for that is V.

Hey Nib. I've been trying to add little bits here and there that are Hunter-friendly and I was wondering if there's a way in the UI currently to show a swing timer/autoshot timer. Any ideas?

I'm having trouble adjusting the way the button bars hide and reveal themselves.

I am attempting to reduce the number of buttons on the first 3 bars, then relocate the bars on the right side of the screen to be near to the first 3.

I want to change the hiding action of the sidescreen bars from revealing on mouse-over to revealing the same way that the first three bars do.

The reason I am doing this is because I use a g13 gamepad and a razer naga mouse, and I want to match the bars to correspond to the buttons I use.

But I can't for the life of me find the settings that are used to customize the hiding and revealing action of the button bars, please give me a clue.

/bar
Select a bar (Bar 1, 2 and 3 use the advanced fading)
Go to the Visibility tab and check out the settings set there.
Replicate those settings for other bars you'd like to behave the same way.

AzCastBar with AzCastBarPlugins has a swing/autoshot timer. If you disable all bars except for that one, and shrink it down to a few pixels in height, it can look pretty good.
