On initial installation RealUI sets some default WoW variables, one of them being not showing titles on nameplates. You can show them under Esc > Interface > Names > Titles checkbox

I have a question...
I've always wondered what the Green "P" and red "P" are next to the HP bar, and I have noticed that there are 6 colored circles in the bottom right corner of the UI that were not there before. They began appearing in r5 or r6, but I'm not sure what they do.

However, I should be starting work on RealUI 0.7, which will hopefully provide a better framework for me to continue developing RealUI. I shall simply have to see where the road takes me.
Great news! Can't thank you enough for all the work you've been putting into RealUI, and hope you stick around! From closed beta to Cataclysm, I've never found a pre-made UI I enjoyed as much as I have RealUI. I used to spend DAYS fine-tuning and trying to achieve the functional minimalism you've accomplished in one small package. I wish you the best, and I am looking forward to the continued evolution of your hard work, both in and out of game.

The "P" is for the pvp flag, if the targets P is red its a hostile "attackable" pvp target. The new dots if I am not mistaken are for raid world flares.

Fantastic Interface...

I just want to applaud you for the great job that you've done on this interface. I've been using this for a few days now and I can't imagine using anything else. It's exactly what I wanted.

I do have a few questions, though. Is there a way to reverse the HP/MP arrows so they move toward the center when depleted? Also, can the same bars be tweaked to change color based on status? For example, 60% health/mana is yellow, 35% is red, etc.

Thank you and good luck with your physical rehab! I'm sure that you will handle it as smoothly as you do with this interface.

Would it be possible to add Executioner timer+stack count for DPS warriors in IceHud? Currently warriors need to maintain a 5 stack of the short buff, while trying to do their usual rotation when under 20%. This would really help not having it fall off if I can see it clearly.

RealUI Options > Totem Timers > Visibility tab

Due to the heavy modification of the totem buttons, I had to create my own visibility holder for them. A little confusing.

Works for me. Nothing in the package deals with window visibility, so I'm not sure what could be affecting it for you.

Try this:
  1. Press P
  2. Type /macro

Do both windows appear?
I did exactly that... press P and the spellbook appears. Type /macro and the spell book closes. Same is true for the character screen. I'll start systematically disabling addons and see if I can pinpoint the culprit.

Thanks for the quick response and sorry for my delayed re-response.

Omen help!

Great UI! I've always experimented with pre-packaged compilations such as this, and by far RealUI is my favorite. For someone who likes ALL the information displayed, this minimalistic UI is surprisingly easy to get used to.

That said, I can't convince Omen to open for me. I just finished a dungeon - didn't see Omen at all. I've gone into the settings and enabled/disabled different buttons in attempt to get it to show and nothing is popping up. Buggrabber isn't registering any bugs... any idea what is wrong?

I've occasionally heard of Omen being off the screen.
  1. Type: /omen config
  2. In the options window, check "Test mode"
  3. Type: /omen toggle

Does Omen appear underneath the HUD area (center of the screen)?

Hi,

At first:

The UI is nearly perfect! Great to use and a nice compilation of different add ons.

But just a question:

I know this UI is "minimalistic" and a lot of people are not interested in this but:
Where can I find the option (or which add on do I have to config) to see (friendly target) for example which mount the traget is riding (in target mode) or see which buff´s are in use? or can I config that these information are shown to me at mouse over the target layer? (like talent specc)

(sry for bad english. from japan)

thanks a lot
greets nitro

Player frame and HUD broke.

Hello. I have version 0.6.9 r3 and I'm having errors.

My player frame and target have reset to stock interface and IceHUD doesn't appear to be displaying target at all.

Is it the wrong version and if so how do I get the correct one?
